Sitting on the sidelines.
Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.
Millions of people are doing this today. Millions.
I used to do this as well. For 7 years.
Let me share with you an idea today that if you CAPTURE can
radically, radically change your life. And fast. Very.
Back in 1998, I was 24 years old and I hosted a success radio
show. My radio show has 3 listeners, 2 of them were my
parents.
If you saw my website back then, here was the headline,
‘World’s
#1 Personal Development Radio Show’.
I didn’t say I had the most listeners, though I believed I
had the most valuable, life changing radio show on the air
today.
“Mike, interesting, why are you telling me this story today?â€
Good question amigo.
I’m telling you this because this is one of many examples I
can give to you that is revealing a powerful success
principle.
One more for today.
Was famous boxer Mohammed Ali telling everyone he was the
‘Greatest’ before he became the best in the world?
Yes, he was.
Too many people today are waiting for someone to tap them on
the shoulder and say, “You’re ready to leave the sidelines
and enter the game. Your time is now.â€
In my experience, the game of success doesn’t work that way.
Here’s how it works.
***You have to VOTE YOURSELF IN.
Yes, YOU have to vote yourself in.
You have to stand up, leave the sidelines and enter the
playing field.
Start branding yourself.
Start writing your own newsletter.
Do a talk at your local library.
Start a website.
Whatever the next step is for you, here’s what’s important.
DECIDE to vote yourself in.
From politicians, to entrepreneurs, artists, musicians, and
all the names you know all voted themselves in.
Are you ready to do the same?

I’ve worked for a boss my whole life and though I hate it and am ready to write might own paycheck, I keep procrastinating! Fact is, at 52, I’ve gotten really used to having someone tell me, do this, do that…
It IS about time that I spent less time worrying about getting it right and GOT IT GOING ie ‘Voted myself in!’

Here’s some BACKLASH AGAINST YOUR ADVICE Mike!
A year ago I sent an email to my small list (5,000) that I had downloaded from Linkedin. I offered to answer the reader’s most urgent question about self promotion and marketing. (A free 15 minute phone consult.)
Here is one of the replies I got…
“Victory, you call yourself an expert but I’ve verified that you have only been in this industry for a year. I’m a certified professional consultant with an MBA and ten years in the industry. Your offer to give “expert” advice is BORDERLINE FRAUD.”
I was almost knocked breathless. I felt like THE INTERNET COPS WERE GOING TO BE KNOCKING DOWN MY DOOR ANY MINUTE demanding to see my credentials.
I felt like BLAMING MIKE LITMAN because it was you who originally told me to boldly stake my claim… Well, I realized something else you said too. There would be backlash from people who were struggling (like this guy) as I just walked right past them to the front of the line.
Now maybe I wasn’t “the expert”, but when people called, I either inspired them, or went and researched the topic until I had a great answer. And that is probably more than this other guy did!
Anyway… a year later here I am, sharing the same page with Jack Canfield and T. Harv Eker!

I want to thank you for this simple piece of information. I just realized that I have been sitting on the sidelines of life this whole time. I have been waiting until I become successful until I start to really do anything. No more sitting around waiting for me.
I am a part of the greatest network marketing company that the world has ever seen. ViSalus is revolutionizing the network marketing industry just like Google did to the information industry. I have the best opportunity in the world to go out and brand myself and get in to the game, but I have been waiting for something to happen. Now it is time to just go out and start playing the game and making something happen.

You are right, again! You have to believe in yourself and if you are not your #1 fan, who will be? The key to success is personal grown, bottomline. What are you willing to do to make yourself better? You need to find a way to work on your mindset. I love the fact that my home business allows you mentor with the great ones, such as Brian Tracy, Bob Proctor and Bill Bartman and create an additional stream of income in the process.

I was just listening to The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale. In it he says you become a success then you make money.
You can’t make money then become a success.
Think about that. You have to successfully sell something then you earn your pay.
