The enemy.
Your enemy.
Plain and simple.
This enemy stands ten feet tall, holding your goals hostage.
For years, I was held in its stalking grip as well.
"Mike, enough, tell me what you're talking about right now."
Amigo, relax. Hold on a second.
What's so terrible about this enemy is that it's completely
invisible.
You can't 'see' it.
Ouch.
Though it can 'see' you and hold your talents and gifts
hostage.
The enemy has multiple names.
Some of them include.
Satisfied.
Comfortable.
Indifferent.
One of the greatest enemies holding back people today from
reaching their greatest potential is COMFORTABILITY.
People are just way to comfortable at their level in life.
F.W Robertson said, 85 years ago, this, "Whoever is satisfied
with what he does has reached his culminating point - he will
progress no more. Man's destiny is to be not dissatisfied,
but forever unsatisfied."
Then the GREAT Orison Swett Marden says this (92 years ago):
"One of the saddest things in life is to see men and women
who started out with high hopes and proud ambitions settle
down in mediocre positions, half satisfied just merely to get
a living, to plod along indifferently.
Oh, what a tragedy there is in being content with mediocrity,
in getting into a state where one is indifferent to the
larger, better things of life.
When you are satisfied with the life you are living, with the
work you are doing, with the thought you are thinking, with
the dreams you are dreaming, satisfied with the character you
are building, with your ideals, you may be sure that you are
already beginning to deteriorate."
Let's keep going.
Stop settling.
Start tapping into the power held in discontentment and not
being satisfied.
STIR yourself up.
STIR yourself on.
Ignite the greatest part of you.
What makes you mad?
What makes you angry?
What is not right with the results in your life?
GREAT athletes are always looking for ways to get AGITATED
because it brings out their fire.
Get uncomfortable in your business.
Take 1% more action.
Take 1% more risks.
Stop being COMFORTABLE.
Start letting your best shine through. Brightly.
When we settle, we stop growing. Don't settle.
There are GREAT things in store for you and MORE.
Believe it and go for it.
Let your AMBITION carry you to fortune.
Love Ya! You're The Best!
Your Coach,
Mike
P.S. Where do you want to be in 3 years, 5 years, even 10
yrs?
What do you want to own? Where do you want to travel?
How many butlers do you want to have? :}
Use GOALS to bring out the BEST you.
I believe in you. Bigtime.

it's good to know that my current state of being mad, jaded, pissed off and really unsatisfied has me one step closer than 'comfortable'. so let's do this... what's next?
Hey Mike,
That's good stuff... I once was told... "we should be anxiously engaged in a good cause!" and thank you for just reminding me.
Alice
Thanks, Mike!
I think one of the worst things we can do for ourselves is to lower our expectations! You are right, we need to commit to being more and better than what we are right now. Attitude plays such an important part in where we are in life, so change your mindset to change your life. Comfortable is too easy and no one said being successful was going to be easy. I am working hard today in my business to have the time freedom in a couple of years to do what I want to do when I want to do it and to be able to do things for my kids and grandkids. Well, sitting back being OK with where I am at today won't get that done for me, so I am NOT satisfied with my life the way it is today, I WANT it to be better! It helps to really love what you are doing and get fired up about that and I am blessed to be in a home-based business that I love and feel passionate about!

When I'm agitated sometimes I want to step away and regain my focus. But your suggestion to use my discontent to stir myself to stir myself to get out of my comfort zone.
In 2 years, I want homes in New York and the Caribbean and be able to run my businesses from wherever I am, for no more than 4 hours per week.
Hi Mike,
Raymond C. Barker, Theologian said and I quote...
"The Danger of Middle Age is that most people accept where they are and STOP VISIONING WHERE THEY WANT TO GO!"
How sad....going to the very end with your DREAM STILL DANCING IN YOUR HEART!...and don't tell me you're too old.
Mike, I agree with you totally.Stop being satisfied, unless that's where you want to be. Hey, I don't want to run with the herd, I want to fly with Mike's Eagles.
The greatest of journeys start with a DREAM and my DREAM IS TO HAVE MY RADIO SHOW SYNDICATED, however that takes
Corporate Financial Solid Business Sponsorship. Hasn't happened yet, but if I become dis-satisfied...dis-enchanted, it ain't gonna happen. I have the patience of a saint...I keep putting it out there and one day, I'll get that one phone call or e-mail and voila, my dream is on it's way to fruition....but it only happened because I didn't give in.
Mike, you're the best!

Dear Mr. Litman:
Again, from Japan.
This one's very interesting and aspiring, as everï¼
Keep on doing what you love to do. We will follow you,
wherever we may be.
Cheers to you as always,
KyariKon, Japan Member Coach, ICF
You know Mike, I see what you are talking about every day, people who have literally given up. They work in unfullfilling jobs day in and day out, come home and plop in front of the tv and watch that dribble, day in and day out. I got rid of the TV four years ago and it was probably the best thing I ever did for my daughter.
You drive me to keep on going and I am extremely grateful for you...Thank you for all you do to keep pushing us.
What do I want? My best seller of a novel, a summer house on the coast, and to be able to do things financally for my family that I presently am not able to do...I do the success six daily, do what I can and keep your words in my mind to keep on going.
Thanks MIke...you're the best!
Mike, you are reading my mail here, ha! That fire! you are talking about comes through disappointment, which causes one to dig deep within and 'remember' what is truly important. It forces a change to come that rattles and upset all comfort zones; been there last week! Thanks for putting a name on what happened. It makes sense now. Endurance and discipline to stay focused long enough to see a harvest is my next challenge. I can do it! I cannot fail...only learn better ways to accomplish the goal. Thanks again.........Nikki Jourdan
Hi Mike,
Thanks for this wonderful message about ones enemy for his own growth. Really something everyone should take little seriously.
I know one thing "THE CHANGE IS VERY PAINFUL" and anyone who is ready for it will achieve great heights.
Best regards,
Francis
Mike
Great stuff again.
It is our dreams that will rouse us from sleep...

mike,
you are just as right as my right hand, cos i just realised how comfortable i have been which is the bane of my recent setback. but i am getting out of the situation, i am stirring myself up, i am leaving my comfrot zone , lauching into the deep of my career, goals and objective.
thanks a great deal coach mike.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for the deep insight and revelation. God bless you.
Thank you for bringing to my attention ways to stay competitive in my market. Sometimes in not just about money, but about having more value than my competitor. This desire keeps me more educated about my product, customers, and myself. When I look to improve these areas aligned with the amount of money I expect to make the energies I send out to the universe answers my request. Always look for oportunities to learn more-never settle. Thanks, Mike.
Hi Mike,
You are a pure winner with this post again. Lets also remember that there are two motivtions for all in life, first inspiration as you put above in different words though, two desperation which drives us to improve our circustances. I dont need to tell you what you have tought us all though Mike. Keep the good stuff coming please as I look forward to reading all of your posts.
God Bless and Kindest regards,
Dimitri.
Mike,
I'm reassured to know that since I don't feel comfortable and I am not satisfied doesn't mean I am not on the road to success which is a lifelong journey. I have hit a few bumps along the way but your words continue to give me hope! Thanks for the continued faith in me! Just reading the words "You're the best" keeps me going on the days when I feel quite the opposite!!
You are definately the best For many of us!!!
Love ya too Mike!

Mike Litman thanks for your inspiration so far. I always get inspired with your messages and I pray that God will not leave you.
It is true encouragement keeps one moving without getting tire.
Just as a man said to me that it is good to be thinking sometime, it keeps you alive. Once you stop thinking just because maybe you have enough resurces that you are not involve in the day to day running of it and you are satisfy without thinking of what to do with the income is just to eat and enjoy, then you start depreciating.
Sometimes you have to stop sticking your toe in the water and worrying about if the water will be too cold.
You need to jump in and do something. Even if the doing something is only 30 minutes a day.
