We've all been beat up a bit in the past.
We've all had moments of discouragement.
We've all had moments when we didn't get the approval, love, or
encouragement we needed.
Some people have had a slew of mental mud (negativity, fearful
thoughts) thrown their way. Many people have.
Here's what trips people up today. Not in the past, today.
First, this 'mental mistake' has hurt me a ton over the years as
well. It has and I want to help you avoid it going forward.
Helping you increase your success and personal fulfillment is
why I'm writing to you today.
Here's what WAY too many people are doing to halt their progress.
They're LIVING and ACTING from their memory, their PAST, rather
then their IMAGINATION and their desired future.

When we live from the 'picture' of our past it's so easy to fall
into the victim mindset. So easy. It's so easy to blame others.
It's not only easy, it's comfortable.
The smart way to use our 'past' is to replay PICTURES of past
successes, most people replay the negative though, not the
positive.
Winners replay past SUCCESSES, the rest replay past challenges
and pains.

We can only pursue what we SEE.
Create, develop, and cultivate a MENTAL PICTURE of what you want
to become and achieve. You can do this.
Hold it in your mind often. Making it clearer and clearer each
day. You can do this too, true or very true?
You're reading this right now. You're feeling stronger and
stronger as you read this.
Your DESIRE to serve and achieve is growing brighter and
clearer every second. Every single second.
You're a star my friend. You truly are. (everyone knows this)
Start acting from what you desire (imagination) versus the
negativity of your past.
It wouldn't surprise me if your income doubled in the next 90
days.
It wouldn't because you're growing personally at such an
accelerated speed. You are.
You don't realize how unique you are. Most people have no
interest in improving themselves each day. You do.

SO TRUE! I have had the last 8 months from hell. EVERYTHING that could go wrong did, The industry I'm in has crashed SO HARD from the mortgage/real estate market downturn. A career and income that seemed ROCK SOLId has plummeted about 75% in the last 8 months. When it started to crash, I would lay on the couch and WORRY-WORRY-WORRY- Finally I got up and said NO MORE! Things are looking up and I SEE IN MY MIND THAT I WILL SUCCEED and am well on the road to recovery!

i think this is one thing that many people need to take seriously. they live all their lives blaming others, carring their past on their backs it is so heavy slows them down in live yet they are not ready to let go of the past. pls if you are reading this take it from me no body can make you who you want to become let go of the past see your self becoming what you want to become and the future will be much brigther for you trust me on this one

Right ON Target Michael. I have a question along this same line. There are two of ME, well my significant partner in life, but not in my business. We attempt to colaborate on All decisions, but have dificulty HERE.
My partner has had great difficluty in life, having lost her first life partner at age 49. I have accepted and loved her, and married her 20+ yeara ago. In my first attempt at business I failed mizerably, and reinforcedd her negative pictures. How can we get past all of this. Mike, I remember atleast 5 instances where I have imagined something for a longer time and it realized. These days I am experiencing that the imaginations are short lived. They drop off my mind before they sink in. No wonder they haven't realized. From what I think is.. I/We am/are not giving myself/ourselves enough time to let the thoughts and imaginations sink in, that eventually take form.

Mike, this is so true. And not only do people replay and relive the past, they also project negative past experiences into the future and start setting it up so that they re-live the feelings or experiences all over again!
One key message I use with my clients is "Focus on what you want and say it the way you want it because you get what you focus on." It acts as a good reminder when the mind starts to wander.

So easy to lose focus -- great to have these reminders in my email to focus and then keep my eye on the ball -- I've been searching for the one tool that could make me do that for years. On again/off again, focus/unfocused, enthusiastic/resigned, hopeful/hopeless, fears/faith . . but this year is MY year and I'm going to obtain all of the things I want, change all the things that haven't ever worked and never will work. I didn't know how I'd accomplish these things when I knew that I would finally get there this year somehow. Your emails started coming a very short time -- weeks, not months -- ago and every time I read one I'm convinced that these emails are elusive tool I've searched for because I knew it had to exist -- somewhere -- in this world. In my world, that's what I require and I thank you, Mike, for giving me this tool right when I needed it. I had no idea where to find the tool I sought so fervently for so long; however, I'd never doubted that I would find the tool regardless how long it would take. Excellent timing? Coincidence? Can it have been serendipity? Luck? I know for sure, though, that it was needed and it is appreciated.
Right on Mike! Once again you have hit the nail firmly on the head. So many people get discouraged when things don't go right or when they struggle and seem to get nowhere and they take these thoughts and feelings with them to their present. What is more sad is that in many cases it really wasn't thier fault but they blame themselves anyway and end up dissolusioned and give up on thier dreams. I know. I was nearly one of those statistics but a great book (Success in 10 Steps) rescued me from the brink and your fantastic messages are driving me forward. Thanks a million!

thinking from the perspective of what u want is very difficult to achieve , this needs lots of guts and training the mind, because the mind keeps carrying the small stuff,because of ego,it never allows you to think positively, if particularly there is failure and not so encouraging results,mediocore mind,

Yep! this sure makes sense to me - the instant a less than positive thought enters my mind [or a picture of something in the past] I say "cancel cancel" to myself and then re-frame the whole thing. I have been re-training my mind in this way for some time now. I have just read "The Millionnaire Mind" by Harv T Eker - absolutly fabulous! - and would encourage everyone you mail to read this book!

I really have been unfairly mistreated, victimized and abandoned for too long after 1989, regardless of the positive efforts I made daily to bring back the success I achieved prior to that 'turning point'. I truly believe there is conspiracy against certain people and we must seek to destroy it!

I have always been an honest, positive person and a high achiever... have accomplished great success before that horrible year! I've always attracted whatever I desired (I call it the midas touch)... and NOW (I still have the "MAGNET", but it's taken away before it reach me or before my very eyes?!! THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG HERE!

Sure, Connie. What you are dealing with is called a "gereational curse. It has nothing to do with you, personally, but about someone/something in your bloodline of the past.
