Go against the tide.
“Mike, what do you mean, please explain.”
Will do. Let’s go.
I’m in Florida for a few days and yesterday I spent time with
one of my mentors, the GREAT Frank McKinney.
Frank is one of the most generous people I know and has made
a fortune in Real Estate.
Frank sells $30-$100+ million homes to the richest people in
the world.
Here’s what more important.
Frank has built homes, villages, and more for the poorest
people around the world over the last 10+ years. I’ve been
involved in Frank’s ‘Caring House Project’ for over 6 years
and the work it does is incredible.
Onward.
Frank and I were talking about one of his books to be
released soon and one of the common themes of the most
successful people in the world.
It doesn’t matter if it’s Gates, Bono, or the successful
person down the block.
Here’s the habit they all have in common.
The happiest and most successful people in the world all have
a strong desire to help others.
They have a desire to give back, to share the fruits of their
labor, and to make a difference in their customer’s life and
those who need an outstretched hand.
They are all SELLING and GIVING more LIFE to others.
I call this, possesing the LOVERAGE MENTALITY.
I coined the word ‘Loverage’ years ago. Start to live with
the Loverage mentality.
Whatever you want more of, start to give it away NOW.
Become a walking, talking reward and blessing for othes.
When’s the last time a ‘stranger’ said, “Thank You God”,
because you entered their life? (this will happen when you
start becoming a problem solver for others)
If you study despressed, frustated individuals and then study
happy, vibrant individuals, you’ll see ONE big difference.
People who live a depressed life live with an INWARD focus.
Those who are happy and radiant live with
An OUTWARD focus. (read this again)
Go against the tide.
The tide says “What’s in it for me?”. Going against the tide
says, “Who can I encourage today? Who can I bless today? What
problems can I solve today?”
Give yourself away 1% more today.
You’ll FEEL BETTER about yourself and you’ll start planting
seeds of success that will turn into a harvest when the time
is right.
Make room for your next level appear.
Love Ya! You’re The Best!
Your Coach,
Michael
P.S. Frank McKinney is somebody you want to know. Here’s his

Hi Mike…
When you do for others you can’t help but do for you… that’s just the way the universe operates. Thanks for giving us a reminder about that… and I’m glad you had a good time in Florida! Sounds great

Hi Mike
This is strong. I will follow this great piece of advice and share the reactions. Thanks for the inspirational message.
yours sincerely,
Alexander Nijs.
you are right Mike, that reminds me with a saying of the Islam Prophet – Mohammed – when he said ” God says to you that if every one over the earth in the past or presently or in the future ask for what he wants and I gave him what he asked for, there will be no shortage in what I have”.
Translation is not realy good but I think you can get the meanning of the saying.
So, ther is abundance.
Thank You Mike for your efforts.
thankyou Mike!
Welcome back Mike,
Few days ago, I completed the statistics, of thw last two years, in my effort to find out what it was going wrong and my business would not accelate to the desired levels.
Guess what the discoveries were.
Coming out from a financial disaster few years ago, I tried to rebuild my life, thus I entered to MLM business.
I was indeed “hunting” the euro in my effort to generate income for paying my outstanding and current bills. Result: I was earning pennies.
At the same time, I was holding for myself, over the 50% of the business of my network, because of the highest level of comissions.
Result it was that for two years I could not break the barrier of earnings in excess of 4 digits.
Then I realized how SHELFISHLY I was running my businesses, holding everything closed to my chest.
Well my great friend and coach.
I was reading and re-reading all your messages of the last two years and here we go.
My day starts, early morning, by reading first your last message.
I started this year, by GIVING AWAY EVERYTHING that I could have.
I gave away knowledge.
I gave away money, by encouraging and assisting the promotion of certain persons in my downline.
I started sharing knowledge with more and more people, not expecting by them an immediate order confirmation, in other words I was seeding, seeding, seeding.
I started sending letters to more than 400 people and e-mails every month, no matter how much time-consuming it was.
I started helping people to solve their problems, even if some time I had to spend money for it (from the very few I had available).
Then THE MIRACLE happened.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In just 3 months, I have seen my earnings climbing more than 400%.
I have seen my new distributors portfolio increasing with an amaging speed.
I have seen my turnover, in these 3 months, exceeding the 50% of the last years turnover.
And the most IMPORTANT. People all over the country are TALKING now about me, thus building the foundation for a GENERATION SUCESS.
I had money to start the construction of my site.
I revised my targets to highers levels by 50% more.
Of course I always had the desire to built a great organization again.
Of course courage never left me even at times of desperation.
But it happened, when I manage to get hold and organize my thoughts and actions, by adopting your coaching.
THANK YOU MIKE!!!!!
We keep walikng
Hasta la vista amigo
Alexandros
Hmmm. Good morning Mike. I must say that I agree with you on the front that doing for others strengthens your soul and heart. Of course, this leads to an all too temporary improvement in feeling and life. However, doesn’t charity begin at home? I suffer from dibilitating depression and anxiety-due to this I can’t keep a job. My medications can only mask so much. My point is, I can’t really afford a tank of gas to go and Help organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. What can I do from home that can create much difference for those that have it worse than me?
Another great reminder that our goal needs to expand from success in business to significance in life.
I appreciate you!
Mike,
You are absolutely right on with this observation. “Love makes the world go round” and when we give it away to others, it comes back in one way or another. Thanks for making the world a better place by loving and encouraging others.

I went and saw the opening preview of “The Moses Code”. If any of you liked what The Secret gave you, you definately will like this one. For a preview go to:

I love to hear this way of “doing business”! It is the only I know how to “do the busiess”! We (my husband & I) give as much as we can as often as we can. Hopeing that the come “come back to you” part kicks in, cause we have given ourselves into a point where we need to be given too. It is getting a little scary. But because of the wisom of great people and the encouragement of my mentors (you being one of them Mike) I will keep the faith and go as far as I can.
Thanks for all the good people in the world!
Peggy

Dear Mike,
The comment above by Jorge Fernandez de Cordova (April 5th) truly struck me, as he says,
“Ever since I knew about you, you had changed my life for the better, your way of presenting life makes you want to go against anybody that wants to stop you.”
I did this, and it cost me my marriage. But I realize I am in a much better place. I am in the process of starting my life over and I am finally able to have that outward focus which allows me to give back to the world. Thanks to you and Gavino… I am in a new location with two new career opportunities along with very supportive friends and colleagues. My personal life has changed, as well…. full circle. All I can say about that is… there was a mist in the air!
Thank you, Mike Litman.
I got it going… and it’s going right!
All the best to you & your team.

When does the outer focus begin? When we realize that we can change our story. When we can think that we have it good instead of bad.
Someone is always worse off, and someone always needs. One thing I am learning is how to listen to someone else without comment, or adding my story, but just listening to give them space to talk.
How rare is it that someone will listen without trying to solve a problem?
Mike,
What a great post.
I often leave replies on this blog about focusing on your efforts to make you happy. Instead of the actions of those around you to make you happy.
I don’t often mention the fact that the focus on your strengths and efforts have to be towards marketing your products and services in a manner that helps other people improve their lives in some way.
If you look at some of the greats like Walmart.
Their message now is “Save money. Live Better.”
Their internal focus is on negotiating better deals with their suppliers in a way that helps them provide the lowest prices. Focusing on employee productivity in order to stock their selves in a timely manner to ensure maximum sales while keeping their cost of business down to continue to keep the lowest price in the market place.
Their outward focus is to provide their customers a pleasant shopping environment with the lowest prices in order for them to live better outside of the store.
Now they serve their customers with the lowest prices controlling their cost to maintain a profitable business.
How can you focus on your internal strengths and abilities in a way that serves your market place in a profitable way?
This is the question that will answer all your problems and concerns.
Mike, keep up the good work.
Here’s to Your LifetoSuccess,
John Clark

Hi Mike,
You are so right about this. That is one of the things that I love about the home based business I am a part of is the teamwork and drive to ensure that everyone that is willing to be coached and do the work is successful. I have always wanted to make a difference in other people’s live and I now know that I can still do that and while doing it, take really good care of myself and my family!

Tracy,
You don’t have to leave your home to do good for humanity. Do you for example belong to a support group? Do they publish a newsletter? Perhaps you can get involved in publishing that newsletter … or get involved in fund raising. There may be some not for profit organizations in your neighborhood that you can get involved with and which have nothing to do with depression — you will contribute to the not-for-profit and I can guarantee you that your depression will take at least a temporary leave of absense!
We don’t have to take heroic measures — small steps count too!
best…………valentina
Hi, Mike!
It’s really nice of you to write another reminder & to model it in your own way…. Yep, “loving means a lot of things — making a difference or so in the lives of people through service with pay, products, volunteer work, smiles, enouraging words, etc… giving something of yourself.” More power & abundant blessings always!
Maria

“Who can I encourage today? Who can I bless today? What
problems can I solve today?â€
Those are all good questions, the answers to which, that can help to move your life forward.

Hi Mike!
Glad you had a nice vacation in Florida.
Love your Loverage word. : )
Loverage gives you leverage.
It really is a great feeling to be able to help people who despair ever getting ahead. Though my business is relatively new … I know that if I keep my focus on what I can do to help OTHERS get ahead … then I ultimately I will get ahead too.
Thanks for reminding me!

Mike,
That is great advice and I know it works.
I have a real estate site http://delphirealty.com/ and six local sites promoting it. I have had non-profit ads on my local sites for years. (see “urgent appeal” on my whiteplainsusa.com site for example)
I know that the organizations have benefited from my ads but their problems and needs are greater and I have to find a way to raise more money.
What can I do? Do you think a site set up just for charities would work? How could I promote it?
Alex
Thanks for more good words and reminders for what we need to do to make it work.
Thank you Mike, you’re a star!
Hi Mike, Thanks so much for sharing your great insights with us. You are absolutely awesome! It was super being a Co-Host with you at the “Frank McKinney Palm Beach Experience” in November last year.
I hope you are going to make it for Frank’s “Birthday Experience” in June, it would be great to get together again and mastermind some new ways to create some major positive change in the world, one village at at time!
It looks like we’re bringing at least 11 Mentor Mastermind Team Members to this extraordinary event and we’d love to see you there!
You have done so much for so many people and we all appreciate your contribution to greatness! Have a super week! Dave.
PS I second Mike’s comments. Definitely check out http://www.Frank-McKinney.com for one of the most successful guys I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet…and who really knows how to make a positive difference in the world! You will be glad you did.
Both Mike and Frank have made major powerful impacts in my life and they will help you too! Have a super week! Dave.

This principal is Biblical! “To whom much is giving, much is required!” “GIVE and it shall be given back…etc” I told my wife, “we’re so caught up complaining about bills, why don’t we find someone and help them pay their bill first! I call it “The Law Of A Farmer”…YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!!
