The Invisible Enemy Of Success

by Mike Litman

They crush us or they raise us.

They beat us down or lay the groundwork for us to soar.

“Mike, what are you talking about?”

One second, amigo. Follow me here.

Think about this.

What’s one of the reasons for low self esteem, low self
confidence, and even depression?

There’s probably many reasons, here’s one of them.

***Negative, Defeating Words Spoken Over You

“You’re no good.”

“You’ll never be anything in life.”

“People like us accept a job and benefits and that’s all life
gives us.”

“You’re overweight.”

“People don’t like you.”

And on and on…

Though, there’s more…

There’s the words NEVER SPOKEN, though that you desperately
want to hear.

“I love you.”

“I’m proud of you.”

“I believe in you.”

“You have what it takes.”

“You’re future will be bright and successful.”

“I like you.”

Too many people at an early age bought into MENTAL JUNK. They
accepted limiting, defeating words spoken over them and many
have brought that BELIEF into adulthood.

Words have IMMENSE power. 25 times more then you can imagine.

The words we BELIEVE and say about ourselves set the limits
for our lives. They do.

You can’t surpass your words. You just can’t.

Also, many have voids in their life because words WEREN’T
SPOKEN. (You needed to hear something years ago, though it
was never spoken.)

You have to NOW speak these words into yourself. (I call this
-Power Speak-)

“Something great is going to happen to me today.”

“I have a winning personality and people are drawn to me.”

“I expect people to want to help me reach my goals.”

“Making money is simple and easy.” (Too many people buy into
the “Money is hard” mindset)

All day you should be saying:

“Your Name, you have what it takes.”

“Your Name, great things are about to happen to me.”

Guard your mind. Stop letting defeating words into your life.

Words will crush you or lift you’ve higher then you’ve EVER
imagined.

Will you commit to using WORDS to help you soar for the next
24 hours?

Love Ya! You’re The Best!

Your Coach,

Michael

It’s so GREAT to har someone who know’s this special key, and is sharing it with other’s as I have!!

But, you sometimes, even though I know the truth about this key, when designing my jewelry, I seem to find myself thinling, What if it’s not good enough, what if people don’t like it! Do I really have talent for this?

Do I charge too, much? Most other crafters say I don’t charge enough.
But, I do know what I need to do about it! It’s easier to teach others, It’s hard sometimes to apply it to your self!! Haha

Dear Mike,

Thank You!

The mind is quite limitless, and yet, the sub-conscious mind makes up 90% of it.

Everything ever heard is stored somewhere in there and needs to be re-programmed, or “uprooted” and discarded, as You have kindly shared in Your previous musings of “weeds in the garden”.

Much Love and Gratitude to You Mike..

Hi Mike,

A friend and I were talking yesterday about this very concept and how the things we were taught as children can be so deeply ingrained in our brains that we don’t even know we are talking junk to ourselves, it just lives there in the darkness. Positive self talk is one of the way to banish those thoughts. When my kids were small, I would not allow them to talk down to each other or make fun of the other one because there was too much of that going on in their outside environment, they were not going to have that at home. Use positive thoughts and when you think something good about someone, don’t keep it to yourself, share it with them! I commit to using WORDS to help me soar for the next 24 hours!

You have learned a lot over the past 8 years, Mike and life has been good to you and you well deserve it all. Now as you suggested when more people also believe in themselves, their lives will be as rewarding as they choose it to be.

Hi beautiful person Michael

quote;

“If you have a positive thought your body actually goes into a positive vibration, you actually attract everything that resonates with that vibration.”

Shakesphere had a statement.
“Things are neither right or wrong,
It’s onky our thoughts that make them so.”

I love myself the way I am but still I want to grow.

” Whatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve”

Love you, you are the best.

In loving life Elizabeth

Thank you for your words of wisdom, yet again. It seems more people criticis than praise although we shouldnt be affected by either we are!

tope popoola May 23, 2008 at 1:22 pm

Right on again Mike. You’re a bomb and this is smokimg hot. Our words and the words of tothers that we choose to believe about us are nothing but self-fulfiling prophecies. No wonder the Bible says that the power of life and death lies in our tongue.(Prov.18:21. Elsewhere it says that a wholesome tongue is a tree of life (Prov 15:4). Keep up the good work

John Clark May 23, 2008 at 2:43 pm

Hey Mike,

Great Post. Our self talk is pivotal for our success. We are often our worse enemies when it comes to judging ourselves and our actions.

Why do we accept it from ourselves but we would fight someone if they were to say to us what we say to ourselves?

Keep up the great work!

Hi Mike, I have been trying to eliminate the negative talk for a while now and most times it is working. I find being near negative and depressing people is something I have to steer away from. I also steer away from the negativity on television, radio and newspapers. It is true about people yearning for the words that were never spoken…never thought about having to say those words to myself. Thank you for the inspiration…have a good holiday!

Kevin Brown May 23, 2008 at 6:01 pm

Mike, this is a wonderful and powerful message.

As Napolean Hill stated, that when we speak, we either plant the seeds of success or the seeds of failure in our life as well as others. So one should always be careful about what they say… Great work my friend. Awesome!!!

Spencer Bosworth May 23, 2008 at 6:08 pm

When you consciously repeat positive messages to your subconscious mind, your subconscious mind will show you how to obtain them. Repetition is the key.

Mike

Keep on! We need to feed our mind with positive words, ideas and feelings and we should try and attempt to flush away all those junky and negative words, ideas and feelings from ourselves and from outside. Specially, we should try to be strong enough to resist, flush away or at least ignore those outside negatives words, ideas, feelings and environment; they are more danger and the source of keeping our mind in negative situation.

Hi Mike

Thinking and speaking positive thoughts to oneself is so vital and you’ve explained it so well. It’s amazing how we can all believe that our thoughts are chipped in granite, that once you have a thought it becomes real. When the reality is thoughts are just thoughts and we can choose to hold on to them, agree with them or change them. It’s such a simple proposition, and so enlightening once you realise that!

Stephen May 24, 2008 at 6:09 pm

Mike, sometimes small leaps of faith are the greatest leaps. With so much junkmail, it is hard to seperate the real from the fake. A small leap of faith landed me @ your blog. Many thanks!
