Mission: Correcting An Injustice
Lack of inner peace.
An inner feeling of emptiness.
Plain ole’ boredom.
We’ve all been there at one time or another, haven’t we?
When the famous philosopher Henry David Thoreau said ‘most people live lives of quiet desperation’, he sure knew what he was talking about.
Onward.
Let me share with you a few thoughts, you can decide there merit and worth to you.
(gulp of my peach Snapple – diet peach today)
We live. We love. We laugh. We cry. We learn. We do our best.
Though sometimes we feel like there’s something missing.
We can’t put our finger on it, but we feel like something is missing.
I’ve been there. I’ve felt that way before. I know that.
Let me share with you an idea that has really helped me.
You see, for many years I didn’t appreciate my own skills and talents.
I really didn’t appreciate them. I took them and what they did for others, for granted.
Totally, for granted.
Looking back on it, I stole mountains of JOY from myself. Yes, from myself and also from others.
This lack of appreciation brought a feeling of emptiness to my life. Even though I didn’t know that back then.
Go to ‘Main Street’ in your town. Look around. Too many people have this feeling of emptiness in their lives as well.
“Mike, I agree with you, what do you think is missing?”
Here are my answers.
MEANING.
Yes, MEANING.
Many people don’t realize it, though they are searching for meaning in their lives.
Why are they alive?
What’s the value of their life?
Read this carefully.
The day you realize -you’re- important your life will change forever.
Let me say that again.
The day you realize -you’re- important your life will change forever.
You might realize you’re important to a person, a group of people, or your Creator.
Or all 3.
When you, your SELF, realizes you’re important, you’ll start to experience real MEANING in your life.
It’s like, “Wow, my life really does matter. People need me. I make a difference. Wow, this feels good.”
A greater degree of self love will follow.
Victor Frankl, the author of ‘Man’s Search for Meaning’ and holocaust survivor writes, “The more one forgets himself-by giving himself a cause to serve or another person to love- the more human he is and the more he actualizes himself.”
Create a ‘gap’ in your life, I call it the ‘meaning gap’.
Where are you now and where do you want to be?
What have you accomplished now and what else do you want to accomplish?
Who are you serving and how many more people do you want to help?
That is the ‘meaning gap’, where you are today and where your want to ultimately be.
You were born to be a walking, talking blessing and problem solver for others.
Tap into this power, tap into the meaning that lives there.
The more we ‘become’, the more we can give others.
The philosopher Nietzsche wrote, “He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.”
Bring more ‘meaning’ into your life. Share your SELF. Give it away. Watch more of ‘it’ enter your life and watch the profits flow to you.
When you find real meaning in your life it will be worth more than any amount of money someone can give you.
The good news is when you tap into ‘meaning’, you’ll get more riches than you can handle. You’ll feel better about yourself and your income will soar.
You’re a GIFT to someone. Realize your important today.
Realize the pain from your past and enter your present with meaning and love.
Your best days are ahead of you and they can’t wait to SEE you.
Love Ya! You’re The Best!
Your Coach,
Michael

I like the new layout of this site, It’s calming and the text is simple to read, also neat simple way to space the audio script.
Thankyou for the uplifting and optimistic emails. There is a humanism and intelligence which is engaging.
Thankyou for the shortcuts to business success that you are trying to teach. I wish I was further along the road, but I have all the learning you have gifted to go over any time I need some energy and a lift, or even to mimic! and to follow through as I have the capability.
very inspiring, it`s a daily vitamine that`s very appreciated
merry christmas

Mission: Correcting an Injustice is appropriately named because we have been and are still getting fed inaccurate information daily.
Mike, thank you for having the guts to “Tell it like it is” and providing a path for us to see through the fog of this injustice.
I am inspired each day with your insights. Please keep them coming.

Mike-
I read your article and just listened to you speak on the subject of finding meaning in your life. Although I live an extremely full life I have this lingering desire to work more directly with youth in my community. However because I have a full schedule working with a group may not be feasible at this time. But after listening to you I do believe I can carve out sometime for l youth or young adult (who’s aged out of the foster system) to mentor. Tomorrow I’m calling the agency that service that population and volunteer to mentor a young person. That is one of my life’s calling and I need to just make that happen! I have my license for a group home administrator but I have not served in that capacity as yet because of other priorities. So I will begin with 1 youth at a time with the hope of making a difference in that young person’s life.
May God continue to bless you Mike.I’m thankful for your words of inspiration.
Maria

Thanks Mike for all you give, for being true to your purpose of giving back, you encourage me.
Mike,
Thanks for the inspiration your sharing and giving spirit touches me.
Merry Christmas to you my friend
Hi Mike, the year 2007 was the worst year of my life. I lost everything material and family and all while I was unemployed. Things got worse after that. Your emails brought the sun over the horizon. It gave me ‘hope’. Something I hold tight on-and all thanks to you. Thanks.
Hi Michael,
I have been receiving your emails for a long time now – over three years. Your advice, support and encouragement have stirred me on many occasions but my impetus to make my dreams tangible, to even take that first step have been hampered by the lack of cash to get started. How it might impact on my family, home etc, if I used a credit card to ‘borrow’ for this purpose – and the ramifications of not being able to pay it back – was also a factor. I am an unemployed generation “baby boomer” who has put my needs on hold for too long. I want to do something significant with the rest of my life.
I just read your email about not appreciating my own skills and talents & realized that I have not truly given them the value they deserve. I have allowed the lack of appreciation from others to color my perception of myself. I have ALLOWED others to undermine me! I absolutely hate being undermined. Stuff it! If I wrote a list of all the times where I have helped others, the list would be several toilet rolls long! And yes, my life really does matter. If others can’t see or appreciate me it is not the end of the world and certainly not the measure of my value.
Michael, thank you for your persistent efforts to reveal & release me from the shackles of my own making.
My greatest strength has always been in identifying and addressing the needs of others. In response to your input I have drawn up plans for an internet business based on my ‘passion’(s). I don’t have the skills to build a web site but I have researched and know what I want. Hopefully I can find someone (and enough cash)to build the site and get me started in my quest to help others.
I would deeply appreciate any assistance/discussion from yourself in this regard & an opportunity to outline my ideas. I have registered a domain name – that’s a start.
I wish you and your family God’s richest blessings over Christmas & the New Year – you deserve them.
Warmest Regards……Cheryl Giamalis. South Australia

This is just great. It is a great preparation for the new year and doing and being the best I can be. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Dear Mike,
My world is a better place because you move me to greater heights which I in turn pass along to others who come to me looking for direction and inspiration. How grateful I am for you and your well written messages which give me hope, strength and courage to be the best me I can be.
May your world be blessed and your spirit moved to continue your work and mankind will be blessed in the process.
Hi Mike,
Yes I agree with you. When we give thought to our lives and focus for the welfare of others, for me, I feel I’ve reached my goal, even, if only a fraction of help I shared to other people who needs my help.
I treasure my life so much so, that I have to cultivate in making it more worthwhile more so – that I have to give what I have to benefit other people with my little help.
Thanks Mike, Merry Christmas
Hullo Mike! Merry Christmas. Whenever I do not get time to read some of your mentoring gem words I lose too much. Your are wonderfully pretty in your ideas. I feel indebted to you for your constant mentoring. Gracious! thank you very much
Mike your words are the most amazing things, as others have said you seem to read our minds, but it just shows that we are not alone in our feelings. You must understand what an important difference you make to our lives.
Thankyou for being YOU
May it be the Happiest New Year
