Remember this.
You were born to SOLVE A PROBLEM for a person or a group of
people.
“Mike, what do you mean? I’m struggling a bit and I don’t see
what you’re saying.”
Let me share with you something that has helped me greatly
and that will help you too.
For years, I didn’t take the SOLUTION that my gifts, talents,
and abilities solved seriously. (read this again)
I really didn’t.
I helped people, many I helped a lot, though I didn’t take
seriously enough the impact I was having on others.
I look back at those times and this ‘mindset’ hurt me
greatly.
Onward.
So many people today jump from ‘opportunity to opportunity’
and never follow their strengths and passions.
They never truly develop their gifts; instead they run after
a quick buck.
And they rarely find it.
Listen to me closely because I wish someone gave me this
advice years ago.
The BIG money will chase you down when you get PASSIONATE
about the PROBLEM you were born to solve and help others with
your SOLUTION. (your product/service)
People are in pain. Thousands, millions of people desperately
need your SOLUTION.
They’re begging, hoping that your INNER FIRE gets stirred up
and you enter the marketplace aggressively.
The more you believe in your SOLUTION (your product/service),
the more you have an ethical responsibility to sell, share,
and market your product with great enthusiasm.
When your enthusiasm about your solution is just ‘ok’, it
shows in your marketing and in your INCOME (low).
You have God given gifts. Develop them.
Who can you encourage? Who can you coach? What do you love to
do?
The more you take yourself and your SOLUTION seriously,
(meaning that you understand people desperately need what you
offer to solve their problem), the greater your personal
fulfillment and income.
YOU should be so obsessed about helping others solve this
problem that you’ll do whatever it takes to reach people and
share what you have.
Everything was created to solve a problem.
Remember, you’re not here for everybody, just somebody.
When you can tap into the POWER OF YOUR SOLUTION and start
sharing it, the universe will start tilting in your favor.
You’re a HERO to someone. Remember that.

Mike,once again, you are so right! Occasionally, I get emails from someone trying to recruit me and have me take a look at their business. When I first got started in my home based business, I had a tendency to look, just in case. That does not work, you have to be totally committed and laser focused on what you are doing, and do it no matter what. We always have the tendency to think the grass is greener, so I don’t even take the time to think about doing something else. I love what I am doing, teaching and coaching people to make $10,000+ a month, and I want to protect my business at all costs. Jumping from one thing to another just does not work. Remember the saying – Wherever you go, there you are. If you are jumping from one thing to another and not succeeding in any of them, the common denominator is YOU!

As a result, I am now regional director of aasap mentors club program that offers what I was doing all along as a solo. So simple and so true like all great advice. Like a lot of people I guess I hated my day job and was desperate to get out and make my fortune. I have spent about 5 years jumping from one thing to the next and only in the past few months did I realize my mistake. Ironically what I do for my job I’m very good at, but I hate the context of how I do it i.e. working for others. I’m good at communicating, consulting and helping but I threw the baby out with the bath water by wanting to run away into some “opportunity” or another. I’m now working on a biz that is truly what I’m about and now know I will be successful.

Many people discount their talents and abilities because they are so easy for them, while those around them often are amazed by what they can do.
When people really start to take their strengths seriously and start to market them in a profitable way to the world around, great things will start to take place.

Mike, I love this message.It is a great motivator for me.Whenever I face a so called «problem», I always think of the SOLUTION and not the «problem».I was told by someone to call the problem, a situation instead of problem.Anyway, I prefer to be a SOLVER «OF PROBLEMS».This is a great thought.
When I read this on Sunday, I had an epiphany. We have been growing wasabi since 1990 and in 1994 came across a research paper that said that wasabi killed cancer cells. Since then we have relied on the mainstream establishment to bring that to the publics attention. What your blog made us realise that it is up to us and not others to make this happen. My wife and I will be concentrating solely on this aspect of our wasabi growing and processing operation. We already talk to the Nutraceutical companies about our product – we now have to talk to the man in the street. Thanks for making our aim clear. It is really strange how things come together.
