Socrates’ Success Secret

by Mike Litman

Are you ready for your next 48 hours to be GREAT?

Yes or YES?

Great.

Onward.

Thousands of years ago, a GREAT piece of advice was shared.

It’s crucial you ‘get’ this piece of advice if you wish to

live YOUR BEST LIFE.

Very crucial.

Too many people around the globe are struggling today

unnecessarily.

Here’s one of the BIGGEST reasons why.

Years ago, probably without their conscious knowing, GARBAGE

was dumped into their mind. Garbage.

Lack of confidence.

Self sabotage.

Weakness.

Indecisiveness.

Negative mental attitude.

Negative self talk.

And there’s more.

Plenty.

Most of us digested mentally thoughts and beliefs that later

on in life now hold us back.

“Mike, how do I get past the mental junk I ingested years

ago?”

Great question amigo.

Let’s look back thousands of years for the advice we need.

It was from the famous philosopher Socrates, here’s what he

said.

“An unexamined life isn’t worth living.”

Read this again.

“An unexamined life isn’t worth living’”

Most people live on automatic. They say, “Oh, this is just

the way I am.”

No. No. No.

They believe the garbage they bought into is THEM.

It’s NOT.

Society is great at teaching you how to live barely above

broke and have a LOSER’S IMAGE.

That’s not the real you.

YOU must examine your recurring thoughts you have.

YOU must examine the self image you bought into years ago.

YOU must examine your beliefs about money.

YOU must examine your relationships and people you spend time

with.

You MUST have the courage to look at yourself, the areas that

aren’t so pretty, and make changes.

You were born to be POWERFUL. Society will work to get you to

conform.

You were born to win. Society will lead you down the loser’s

path.

Examine your attitude.

Examine your thoughts.

Examine your beliefs.

You have no idea how close you are to a MAJOR breakthrough.

Don’t give up. You’re too important to somebody. Many people.

Love Ya! You’re The Best!

Your Coach,

Michael

Thanks Mike. It is so true. So much crap is put into our heads. But that is not who we are. We have to realize that. It can be very difficult to do, but it is so true.

As always Mike, your message is right on. It’s that negative self-talk that always gets people in trouble. When we turn that around and examine our thoughts and beliefs, that is when we become truly powerful.
Thanks again.

Hi mike
What a great quote from socrates. Many people don’t even realize they are caught up in this way thinking from passed experiences. The media of negativity has done a fine job to warp and steal no strip the confidence of dreamers to be.( who are who trying to be financially free during a recession, they say).
Thanks for your dedication to truly helping people get out the the mental prisons of their own makings and showing us how to demolish it with cranes of knownledge.

My daughter sent me the message below. I hope you will be blessed by it as well.
Paulette

This Morning, I was asking myself, what are some of the secrets of success in life? I found the answers right there, in my very room. The fan said: be cool. The roof said: aim high. The window said: see the world. The clock said: every minute is precious. The mirror said: reflect before you act. The calendar said: be updated. The light said: shine as bright as you can. The wall said: stand firm. The door said: push as hard as u can for your goals. So always apply these techniques for a better life…have a nice day!! God has seen u strugglin and he says its over. A blessing is coming ur way…i wish u d very best.

Hi Mike,

Bill from Ohio here.

I’m with you man!

For sure,

there’s a lot of “Baggage” that we carry around.

I just wanted to share something with your readers:

I met a woman,
Denise Adams,
on the internet a few days ago.

She is very sincere about changing peoples negative thoughts into

positive,

productive

and peaceful affirmations.

She challenges people to examine their attitudes,

their thoughts,

and their beliefs,

by offering a series of subliminal tapes, CD’s, MP3′s,
to awaken, stimulate and rejuvinate your subconscious mind.

You can visit her website at:
http://www.subliminal-tapes-self-improvement.com

Again,
I would like to say,
Thank for all your help and encouragement,

Bill

Excellent! Another reminder that “What we feed grows – be it thoughts, words or actions”.

Dear Mike,

A great message. Personaaly as a Christian, the Bible encourages us to “…bring every thought into captivity.” 2 Corinthians 10:5, and that is exactly what I do. I know negative thoughts or feelings are not from God so I REJECT them. I know the plans my CRETAOR has for me, “..plans to prosper you and not to harm you…” Jeremiah 29:11, so I embrace such thoughts, and that is why I have a “I can do all things through Christ who strnghthens me” Phillipian 4:13, mentality. Works every single day!

Hi Mike,
I’ve been busy producing/hosting Radio Talk Shows for Business and Industry. However, this e-mail is and was a constant reminder that “what we put our attention on tends to expand in our lives”…We aren’t what we think we are, WE ARE WHAT WE THINK!”

My daily mantra…”We live in mind and it can only return to us WHAT WE THINK INTO IT!”

Once I learned to deal with my fears and insecurities, I was ready to show the WORLD how capable and courageous I TRULY AM…..WITH YOUR HELP!!!

Thanks Mike, Love Ya, You’re the best

This is an excellent article. We must be aware of everything that has become unconscious and automalic in us.We feel that we are thinking, but actually we don´t know what we are thinking. We say things without really knowing what we are saying.Usually we are compelled to say what we say.Jesus said:Father, forgive them;for they don´t know what they are doing.

Michael May 19, 2008 at 8:32 pm

Tks fr those word of wisdom Mike…You made a lot of sense there….Will talk with you soon…

Michael May 19, 2008 at 8:44 pm

Mike, u’re a great and selfless guy…Those are very profound words….I often try to practice them, but sometimes get sidetracked…I even encourage my wife to adopt that PMA (positive mental attitude)….

U know Mike, recently I got this job in a management position…the thing is, I was shortlisted from a list of other persons whom I know to be more qualified than I was…but I kept telling my wife that I jus knew I was gonna get that position…Well after some months passed…my phone rang…today happens to be my first day innthat position…Positive thoughts are REAL…

Be blessed Mike

This is quite under the mark, Mike!

Sweet Samurai June 6, 2008 at 5:54 am

Mike, I agree 1000% that many are suffering unnecessarily because of the things they put into their minds. Mind is the builder. I wish in your next blog, you can suggest “do-able” things to overcome negative thinking to benefit many of your readers who are struggling to get out of their predicament. Thank you and more power to you.

Olorunkiya Joshua(Malaysia) June 8, 2008 at 11:15 pm

This is quite revealing. Keep up the work of liberation for the souls of mankind.
