Socrates’ Success Secret

Are you ready for your next 48 hours to be GREAT?

Yes or YES?

Great.

Onward.

Thousands of years ago, a GREAT piece of advice was shared.

It’s crucial you ‘get’ this piece of advice if you wish to

live YOUR BEST LIFE.

Very crucial.

Too many people around the globe are struggling today

unnecessarily.

Here’s one of the BIGGEST reasons why.

Years ago, probably without their conscious knowing, GARBAGE

was dumped into their mind. Garbage.

Lack of confidence.

Self sabotage.

Weakness.

Indecisiveness.

Negative mental attitude.

Negative self talk.

And there’s more.

Plenty.

Most of us digested mentally thoughts and beliefs that later

on in life now hold us back.

“Mike, how do I get past the mental junk I ingested years

ago?”

Great question amigo.

Let’s look back thousands of years for the advice we need.

It was from the famous philosopher Socrates, here’s what he

said.

“An unexamined life isn’t worth living.”

Read this again.

“An unexamined life isn’t worth living’”

Most people live on automatic. They say, “Oh, this is just

the way I am.”

No. No. No.

They believe the garbage they bought into is THEM.

It’s NOT.

Society is great at teaching you how to live barely above

broke and have a LOSER’S IMAGE.

That’s not the real you.

YOU must examine your recurring thoughts you have.

YOU must examine the self image you bought into years ago.

YOU must examine your beliefs about money.

YOU must examine your relationships and people you spend time

with.

You MUST have the courage to look at yourself, the areas that

aren’t so pretty, and make changes.

You were born to be POWERFUL. Society will work to get you to

conform.

You were born to win. Society will lead you down the loser’s

path.

Examine your attitude.

Examine your thoughts.

Examine your beliefs.

You have no idea how close you are to a MAJOR breakthrough.

Don’t give up. You’re too important to somebody. Many people.

Love Ya! You’re The Best!

Mike, I couldn’t agree more but don’t we all forget this and don’t take the time to be inner reflective ?? We are all so damn busy that we push this aside. I know I did for years and it’s been only the last couple years where I see and understand the value of taking some quality time to just reflect. I have to schedule this time with myself or it will never happen but when I do examine where I have been and where I am going — I sure learn a lot !!!

you know mike…this came just when I needed it. I was feeling so overwhelmed today at work worrying about money, bills, etc. and hoping for some good news. And you gave it…thank you. I will get back to studying what I need to do.

Michael,

I just wanted to voice my opinion. Your ending “Love Ya! You’re The Best!” I think takes away from your uplifting messages. You don’t know us, so it seems so phony. I enjoy your emails, but the Love Ya parts drive me crazy. It would be like me calling you “Chief” or “Boss,” etc.

That’s my two cents.

Mike,

I have never felt “normal.” I have always gone against the crowd and done my own thing. But last night I did something that I DETEST. I actually stood in a line to meet Gary Puckett (the singer) – ME – the guy who NEVER stands in a line. I gotta admit I found it very uncomfortable being a herd creature.

I never “line up” for anything. Hmm.

Anyway, I have always admired the singing of Gary Puckett, so I guess it was worth it. But I’m still amazed that I did it. I HATE standing in lines at airports too but that is a necessity. I just hate being “normal.”

I think the media – TV, radio and newspapers – have a LOT to answer for. They literally FORCE FEED negative impulses into us 24/7. They like nothing more than an economic meltdown or a massive tragedy or human grief or an outbreak of bird flu or whatever just to scare the living daylights out of people or make them feel bad.

Governments LOVE frightening and punishing people too – I have always said that “a frightened population is a controllable population.”

That is why I prefer to work on the computer now and build my blog – the ANTIthesis of all their garbage. That is my fightback against all their garbage and negativity.

Thanks for a good post – as usual. Now that I have found your blogsite you had better ban me to get rid of me – LOL!

Seriously, thanks for being a “safe harbour” in an ocean of negativity. The world needs more Mike Litmans.

This is something that is crucial to succeed. Alas, it is true that our parents, our teachers, the news focus on us to struggle to live, and we need to break free from all that confusion. I know that to read positive reading does the trick for me. I am reading Brain Tracy : Goals! I recommend! also, stay away from most talk shows, and the news. Charged with negative stuff!

Hey, a note to Gary Simpson….I really get and admire your passion! What I’d like to suggest to you is a shift in your word choice and your context of your “fightback against all their garbage and negativity”. Mother Theresa acomplished positive miracles in the world. She made it known she would never attended an antiwar rally. She attended peace rallies, because they promoted what she stood for, peace. Martin Luther King, Jr. never FOUGHT segregation. He led peaceful marches FOR INTERGRATION, and look at what we have today! When we promote what we WANT in our lives and in the world, THAT’S WHAT WE ATTRACT into our lives and the world. When we promote what we don’t want, THAT’S WHAT WE ATTRACT…WHAT WE DON’T WANT! All the universe hears is what we don’t want, and that’s all it knows to gives us. Gary, Your message will be even MORE POWERFUL when you speak in terms of what you DO want instead of what you don’t want or want to change.

Good post Mike,
It is a shame we do not teach our children these truths about our so called brainwashed lives. The bull the establishment has pounded in our heads for years has left us so insecure, and ashamed, with our livelihood, we can not even begin to tell ourselves let alone our kids that we are just existing from generation to generation. If we allow this flow of education to continue as it is, then we can expect nothing new to come of the next generation. If we just do nothing, we are allowing things in our world, globally, to continue on this downward spiral of destroying our planet. But how will we get the brainwashing people out of our government that keep this happening to us?
