Remake Your Character

by Mike Litman

Sloppy. Disorderly. Scattered.

Inconsistent.

Procrastination.

The character of an individual living on the path called
mediocrity.

Clearly mediocrity.

That was me.

Yes, me for 7 years of my life. Maybe even 8.

Lame. Lazy. Lethargic.

Today, millions of people keep their potential held hostage
through a mediocre character which leads to mediocre living.

A great life can’t be lead without great character first
being built.

Go back.

Go back and read hundreds of years of success literature.

From King Solomon to James Allen to Orison Swett Marden to
Napoleon Hill to Earl Nightingale, they’re all saying the
same thing.

***REMAKE YOUR CHARACTER

Throw greed, selfishness, jealousy, and envy to the wind.

Start deleting the weak habits and weak thinking that is too
dominant in your life.

Make yourself over.

Transformation: (here’s the definition)

1.
a. The act or an instance of transforming.
b. The state of being transformed.
2. A marked change, as in appearance or character, usually
for the better.

Transform yourself.

Not on the surface. Below the surface.

Transform your character. Transform your personality.

Become more likeable.

Become more agreeable.

Become more respectful of yourself.

Become more respectful of the gift called work.

(Only through work is your potential released)

Most people picked up bad habits over the past years.
Decades.

You need to ERADICATE them and make yourself over to lead the
most fulfilling and satisfying life you can live.

Real self respect and real confidence can only reside in a
positive and thriving character.

Release your selfish nature and your unselfish character will
deliver all the rewards you desire.

Love Ya! You’re The Best!

Your Coach,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Great post. Most people may think they are destined to continue to repeat the same defeats over and over again until they die.

But if they simply make the decision to change their thoughts and actions, miracles happen.

Keep up the great work, Mike!

Hey Mike,

Another great post my man….

I have heard before that “change” is not really change until you “change”…

In order for transformation to take place we must be ready to actually change our habits and our lives.

Super powerful stuff….

Mike…was just to a Wealth and Self conference last week in Panama..you could have been a keynote speaker…always inspiring me to do my best..I’m now on a 30 day mental fast..no newspaper or TV…WOW!!! Time to work on me!! Thanks as always!!

Change always begins from the inside out. We can do the superficial things to “look better” on the outside, but if the inside isn’t being transformed, it doesn’t amount to much. Jesus says don’t just clean the outside of the cup and yet the inside is filthy – clean the inside and the outside will be clean too. Thanks for the timely reminder – we can all use them every day!

Kathy October 29, 2008 at 10:31 am

that’s exactly it Mike….you have to re-invent yourself to beome everythig that you want to be and you have to start from the inside out, you need to become lovable to yourself, be the kind of person that you are attracted to and eliminate the negatve things in your life, sometimes that means people…even family. I know that sounds harsh yet peple can bring you down if you let them,it is up to you to make sure your life is what you want it to be and yes it does take work….but Aren’t YOU worth it?
Dream Big and follow through, you deserve it!
You Are Awesome1

Thanks for a great reminder. We tend to forget that by releasing things, we gain better things.

Mike How true. Most of the peopel I work with have the attitude that the world owes them. Once I explain that they need to change that around to they owe the world and to be positive about life. It all changes for the good

Wow, Greatly put! I couldn’t agree more! Sometimes we all really have to step back and really look at what we are doing on a daily basis or even a hour to hour basis. We as people can waste so much precious time that could be used on something of greatness instead! Thanx for putting this out there! Have a Great Prosperous Life Everyone!

Hey mike,

I never fail to feel inspired by your words and I have to tell you that your quote, “You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going!” has had an ultra major impact on my life! Thank you so much for your great wisdom!

And on this post, I especially like your quote, “A great life can’t be lead without great character first
being built.”

It mirrors my principle in life, “We are the foundation of our very own success.” I’ve always believed in laying the foundation to success. And that is to build ourselves first before anything else. Without a solid foundation, everything is just going to fall apart sooner or later.

Thank you once again for being such a great mentor.

All the best to your success!

Cheers~

It sounds good. Easier said than done. Wish I knew exactly how to do it.
Though it is something to think about.

Your message reaches me at the right time as I am feeling depress about my self for not succeeding in life. Now, I understand that I have to change my self from within instead of expecting changes from other people and circumstances.

I was thinking of reworking the marketing end of my business model, but I think I will spend the next month instead of reworking myself. I want to be more consistently living passionately. Not these constant boom-bust cycles. This would help my business more than improved marketing.

How do i MAINTAIN, that ‘inspired state’ that I often get? It makes me feel like I can accomplish anything. Drink more coffee?

Mike, Yes, brother I feel the same but I also realized that the struggles and fears I’ve been living in are not a Godly attribute but exactly where Satan wants us to be. Appreciate your heart-felt encouragement but knowing that someone plants and God waters and gives the increase. Truth is of God and apparently he has given you the task of keeping us reminded that we can do all things in Christ who strengthens me
