(Move your chair in a bit closer. This is important.)
For 7 years of my entrepreneurial life I brought along with me a group of ‘best friends’. Let me share them with you. Procrastination. Scatterdness. Frustration. Indecision. Inconsistency. And my REAL best friend back then, PERFECTION. For those 7 years, I couldn’t make 2 dimes as an entrepreneur and all I did was run around in circles. I knew I couldn’t break the pattern of entrepreneurial failure until I beat down its being culprit. That being PERFECTION. I see so many good hearted people leaving their potential untapped because they don’t take their ideas to the marketplace. Some of them are scared. Others are afraid of what their family and friends might say. Fear rises. Action decreases. PERFECTION screams out for attention. Aim for perfection as an employee. AIM for ‘good enough’ as an entrepreneur who is just getting going. That’s what I did and everything changed for the better years ago. I bought into a philosophy years ago and I suggest you do the
same. Here it is. ***You Don’t Have To Get It Right; You Just Have To Get It Going. Read this again. Even say it out loud. ***You Don’t Have To Get It Right; You Just Have To Get It Going. Yes, living this ‘idea’ changed everything for me. It will do the same for you. Remember, the best way to learn something is to teach it. Teach someone this idea in the next 72 hours and you’ll ‘get it’ at an even deeper level. You will. I care about your success. I want you to experience greater fulfillment, happiness, and success. Now, GET GOING. You can do it. I believe in you. Love Ya! You’re The Best! Your Coach, Michael P.S. You have what it takes to make a difference in 25,000 lives. Maybe more. You Don’t Have To Get It Right; You Just Have To Get It Going.

"You Don’t Have To Get It Right; You Just Have To Get It Going" has been my mantra since I first started receiving your emails. It is on a postit note stuck to my computer monitor so I can see it every day! I wasted a lot of time when I first got started in network marketing trying to learn everything I needed to know, getting my office put together, going to training calls...on and on when all I really needed to do was START! Thank you, Mike, for getting me in gear and helping me to be successful in spite of myself!
Remember, personal growth is the key to success!

Re: "You Don’t Have To Get It Right; You Just Have To Get It Going"
I first heard you say that when I ordered your CD a couple of years ago, and I've never forgotten it!! I tell it to my MY subscribers now.
I've also never forgotten another powerful statement you said.. "Successful people DO what nobody else WANTS to do!". So, so true.
Thanks for everything.
Dave
Hi Mike,
I've been following you for several years now but started following your advice of "You Don't Have to Get it right, You just have to get it going" about 8 months ago and what has happened to my business is beyond words...
I still don't get it right but it's amazing when you just do things everyday how not only your business grows, but you as a person grow also. I've gone from just being a regular distributor for my company to having one of the fastest growing organizations in the company!
You always give great advice Mike and if everyone would just follow a few of things you say all the time their businesses have no choice but to grow.
Have a great day!
Thanks for everything you do for us...

I think it should say:
You Don’t Have To Get It Perfect. You Just Have To Get It Going.
Thank you Mike for you wisdom. That is exactly my dowfal.
This not good enough, undecision, tomorow I will know how to do that and then.....
It is not easy to break that but I shall never give up and I will succseed.
That's a great idea--teach someone something you want to sink into your own thinking. I've known that but haven't put it into practice lately. Well, now I'm off to do some teaching!
Thanks, Mike. You're a really good mentor.
Great insight.
Dear Michael,
Thank you so much for the confidence builder. I'm just scared. You seem like a very dear friend. When I was in school, I failed my art class because I was afraid that if I drew anything all the kids would laugh at me. Thats kinda the way I feel now. But I know that once I can figure all this out and be brave enough, I can do it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, your friend,Christine
Mike,
This article was Just perfect ! OOps sorry , I mean Great.
When I tell participants in my programs that perfection is not a nice place to be , they look at me like I'm some loony.....until I get them to understrand.
Perfection kills creativity.
Way to go, Mike.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for this message. I am trying to start a business an I want everything to be in place to start. Yet the words that you share help to confirm that all I need to do is get going.
Thanks
David
Hi,
I'd like to know what exactly are you talking about here.
thanks,
Greg
Hi Michael,
Loved it!
Good words, simple, the way it should be told...from experience and from the heart.
what fear is keeping you from sharing your God given talent with the rest of the world?
ridicule?...something is wrong with you they say...you are not like us...
criticism?...shot down in the prime of your life...beaten down, emotionally, to with in an inch of your life...that is what a critic does to us.
gossip?...idle chit-chat about someone other than the ones gathered and doing the talking...then someone brings up your name, and off they go,
about you...
I remember a co-worker saying once..."if you're talking about me, you are giving someone else a break..."
this is what gossipers do, they give themselves a break by talking ill of others...
once you finally understand this...you will not take part in idle gossip ever again...
by putting others down, we put ourselves up on that pedestal we so long to be on...so we can be better than others for a while...
realize that these people have such a low self-esteem themselves this is the only way to feel on top of others... they have to beat them down with
words.

Mike I would love to be involved in an affiliate programme? You have inspired me to set up my company and build a strong base from which great things are on the horizon. I listen to your tapes everyday and I would like to offer visitors to my website the opportunity to hear some of your tapes and hopefully lead them back to your website to buy some of your great books... etc.
Hi Mike,
"You don't have to get it right" "You just have to get it going", sounds great and i've always been using that principle since the first time i heard about it from you. This is another fantastic advice from you. Thanks for your words of encouragement.
Rasaq Akinde.
Thanks ever so much for this blog. I have been possessed by these same demons, the biggest culprit being the vainful pursuit of perfection, and I have suffered very much personally, professionally and financially. Your blog brought it home to me more forcefully as I have the evidence in the unpublished sites I have been developing for a long time.
I chased website creation tools & read countless reviews and learned HTML but got nowhere because I have not been satisfied with the results through both valid and invalid comparison with other sites. In that time my daughter had a few ideas and launched 3 simple sites which she has improved and is making some money. And guess what? I had the temerity to offer advice which she took and benefitted. My sites are still on the drawing board and in my head and my dreams.
My exorcism began today with your advice and I have to keep saying your mantra several times a day not only regarding my online experience but also in other areas the demons have tormented me.
Apologies for this long reply but I feel relieved that there are others like me and that relief is at hand. Thanks for the mantra - I'll be repeating when next those demons strike.
"You don't have to get it right; you just have to get it going," has been added to my collection of daily mantras. Thanks Mr. Litman. I heard you for the first time on the Learning Annex teleconference and your tips were great. I am self publishing my own motivational/inspirational book through Amazon this summer 2009. Your continuity program on the pie chart is a marketing tip I had not considered. I look forward to one day sharing the stage with you.

Dear Mike, but what if you have tried to get it going and have exhausted every aveune in your knowledge? What if your idea is so unreal to people you approach? How do I get to approach the people, due to my low position on the totem pole of life (bottom), I need to get it going? How do you convince people, in this climate, to invest in a mutli-billion dollar idea? Please Mike if you have time, please turn the light on, i'm sick of the dark.
Yours Sincerely George
Hey Mike, you did it again another great post.
This is off subject, but I think it's important that I ask you this.
I was wondering if you can repost your info on loverage.
Today that seems to be needed now more then ever.
I remember getting an email from you in 2003, yep I kept it, that talked about loverage.
Here are the four steps you mentioned.
--------
4 Steps to Activating The Most Powerful
Business-Building Secret Never Told - Loverage.
1. Create New Relationships
You must 'make contact'. You go first. Nothing can
happen until 'contact' is established.
Go first.
2. Go The Extra Mile For The Relationship
You can ask this question, "If there's anything I can do to
help, please let me know." Follow through when
help is asked for.
Offering help and following through on the request.
Doing this will earn the heart of others by giving your
heart to them.
Overdelivering.<<<key attribute in going the extra mile
3. Use the power of asking to manifest leveragable
opportunities into your life.
Its biblical. Ask and you shall receive.
4. Take immediate action and tap into the power of loverage.
The universe has opened up wide. Now act. Act. Act.
This is the 1st time I'm made public the most powerful
principle I know for getting the abundance you desire
in the fastest way possible.
If you desire to tap into this powerful principle
read this article a few times and you'll start to 'see'
how this universal principle works. It's smart
as well to print this out.
Loverage is the most powerful business principle
I've personally have ever laid my eyes on. Even after
interviewing many, many millionaires.
---------------------
I know you have a link on your blog that dates back to the year 2005.
But this message that you sent was more helpful to me.
So if you don't mind reposting information relating to loverage I would then link to it
Or if you don't mind I'd like to post the original message you sent me on my blog.
Thanks in advance.
