Encouragement
----------------------
The fastest way to bring more and more great encouragers and
life-enlargers into your life is to FIRST encourage someone else.
Few ideas:
Smile at someone.
Tell someone "You're proud of them."
Say, "I love you."
Say, "I believe in you."
Say, "I appreciate you."
Lose yourself in other people and watch people enter your life and
push you forward.
You in?
If you'll COMMIT to encouraging at least ONE person in the next 24
hours, leave your comment below.
When we look for GOOD in others, we always find it.

Love Ya! You're The Best!
Your Coach,
Michael
P.S. Be a model of great living for generations in your family that
you'll never meet.

A smile is such a small thing that we can do........ but you would be surprised at the amazing feeling it can give to someone else. Someone that may have not been recognized in a crowd, now realized that they have been acknowledged!
Hey Michael
I really appreciate the way you encourage all your readers to push themselves and be the best they can. I can easily commit to encouraging more than one person, since I do that every day. Besides my family, I have four very close friends online that I try to encourage every time I chat with them. The feeling I get when I tell them how great they are is amazing. And if they tell me how much I have encouraged and helped them, well that just sends me over the top. Thanks once again for all your encouragement.
Mike, great post as always!
"Gods gift to you is more talent and ability than you will ever use in your lifetime. Your gift is to develop as much as that talent and ability as you can in this lifetime."

You bet Mike! I commit to encourage at least one person in the next 24 hours. This is one of the fastest ways to turn a tough day into an awesome day. People love to hear positive words and positive words are hundreds of times more powerful than negative words are. What a tremendous habit to form. Thanks for another great idea Mike.
Ron
Great job Mike !
I´ve been a subscriber to your newsletter for quite sometime without making a peep. But this I couldn´t resist!
I´m in!!!
Your student,
Dr. Timothy J. Lix
Mike, I'm in. I try to be encouraging to others but I will focus on expanding my efforts tomorrow. Thank you for encouraging me each day.
Michael!
I agree. In so many respects, people convince themselves, and wear blinders.
Question? How do I convey to Santa Anita Racing that the Poly Track is a big mistake? The soil removed could have been simply treated to superb consistency rain or shine! But, expertise told them otherwise. and so it goes. Bob
Mike,
I was having a bit of a rough day when I received your email about one encouraging word, I decided I had nothing to lose so I picked up the phone and called a friend of mine just to tell her I was thinking of her and how important she is in my life...and you know what, you were right, it worked and I felt great afterwards, especially when she said, "how did you know I needed this today".
Hey Mike! I will have no problem making this commitment. I love to do this sort of thing. I drive my wife crazy because I'm always talking to people I don't even know (elevators, airplanes, parking garages, store, etc.)
Encouraging others is not hard to do at all. A smile, a kind word, a compliment about something that others may not even notice can make all the difference for another person. In my job, I'm used to doing these things all of the time, so yes indeed, I'm in, too!
Mike, every day you bring something new and pertinant. Today is no exception. I do this, but this will cause me to increase my giving of encouragement.
My thanks
Tom
I will be sure to say something nice to someone from now on,on a consistance basic in other wouds more then I have ever done before and will enjoy doing it.
Really you are the best,
Thanks Mike,
Shirley
Hi Mike
The people around us can sure do with more encouragement from everyone of us. Keep up the good work!
Count me it.
Jim C
Hang tough! God is love
Mike, you are right. I generally smile and try to encourage all around me - even my ultra negative, ill relative who unfortunately is consuming many hours per week which I should be using for my website business. I try to make her smile, at least once (maybe even laugh), whenever I spend time with her.
Meanwhile, I could be cranky and complain about some factors in history; but choose to gently, smilingly and entertainingly give, in a free book, some easy background knowledge that could enhance another person's understanding and consequently his or her decisions about social maneuverings.
Encouraging and spoken appreciation with in-depth understanding that comes with being a listener (insightful observer or reader) enhances the one who smiles as well as the one who receives the smile.

Mike,
I just like Dr. Lix have to step in on this one. I assure you that I will contribute to the cause. I am always trying to make the effort to pay it forward and as part of this special effort I will go at it with extra love and understanding tomorrow. Thanks so much for your strong convictions and guidance.
Most Sincerely,
John Knapp
Mike,
I need to say, further, that encouragement has been and still is a major blessing in my life.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to express my appreciation.

AWESOME!
Count me in
Mike,
YOU are such a remarkably beautiful person who gives hope abundantly to so many people including myself. Do you know that your emails never get deleted from my inbox? I am certain that I am not alone in that one - lol! Just can't delete any of them (even if I have to go back later to read) because I realize the value of what you have to offer! THANK YOU
Katheryn~
One of the kids at school is always nice and behaves for me but is a "pistol" for everyone else. When I asked him why he said, "Because you're the only one who says Hi to me and asks me "how's it going" and sound like you really mean it.
It takes so little to make a difference.
Mike, I'm in. Always love and truely appreciate YOUR encouragement. There is a quote by Roger Dawson (an author, speaker, and negotiation expert) "Treat everyone you meet as though they are the most important person you'll meet that day." I have and it makes a tremendous difference in my life.
Thank you for being there.
I'm in, Got to give it away to keep it
Mike thank you for the encouraging word and they do lift me up every day i encourage kids that they can make it on my job and i give smiles and encouraging to people at work or in the street. if we would invest our time in people to encourage or just to say a good word to them this world would be a better place and show love.
Every day when I wake up I think what a wonderful country we live in. We are surrounded by so much beauty of nature everywhere. The thoughts of all my blessings dwells up and I feel so much joy inside of me. When I am out I am always looking around and have a smile for everyone. With my smile I am wishing them the joy that I feel every day. I pray they will know the peace that no matter what is going wrong in their lives, this too shall pass. These are my best words of encouragement. God bless you and God Bless America.
A smile is such a quiet and powerful mean of communication. Two people looking into one another's eye. One smiles. the other instinctly smiles also. Good vibration,it is very contagious.
Thanks Mike, for giving me the opportunity to express myself on this smiling issue.
kodjo Amouzou-Edah
Wao, so easy and yet not explored for so long. Am in Mike. And you know what? The big deal is that you feel real good too. men
My father's success came from this concept. He was not afraid of the success of others around him; or those that worked for him. He encouraged independence in his emerging leaders. Many of those employees moved on to open large businesses as well. In many company cultures, unfortunately those that are in leadership positions have fear that they may become unnecessary, should their understudies become more skilled than they are. Usually this fear fosters resentment between those in leadership roles and the employees and talent is wasted. When one has a fire in their soul, it is criminal for someone to try and extinguish it. Sadly this happens to employees all the time. If you are in a leadership role of any level of significance, please consider your actions. Every day you can chose to inspire others to greatness. I prefer this path, as it is rewarding to see others succeed as well as your organization's success. To me that is the difference between a leader and a mere boss. Have courage, be a leader.
Thanks Mike.
Yes I commit to bring sunshine into someone's life.
Hi coach,Smile makes it into habit. Smile is not show out in face but from your eyes and the most important is from your hard.
Mike your absolutely right! you hit the nail right on the head ! encouragement is the key, i do it all the time with my students, and boy does it do them a world of good, also it returns to us multipied a hundred fold.
Thats the power of our tongue, it has the power to kill ( negative words, critizing etc ) or it has the power to give life, to awaken people; talents etc using encouragement!! Keep it up Mike
Mike,
Thanks, as always, for the inspiration and effective tools for success in life. By nature, I'm the opposite of this theory, but I will work hard to extend some positive and encouraging thoughts and words. And to smile more. Keep up the good work.
Ken
I am in! Looking forward to helping make someones day tomorrow. Gonna go encourage my family now!!
Thanks
Count me in! I truly believe that we are doing a dis-service if we do not do,say, or reach out to someone everyday. I am in a "service" business! It is my job to help in anyway I can by just saying something nice to someone. Encouragement can go a long ways in someone's life!
Thanks for the reminder Mike!
I'm in Mike. I believe in the power of helping others and I am grateful for your inspiration and motivation every day. It keeps me positive and I get to pass that to others. Keep paying it forward and you will pass it on to your future generations.
Thanks Mike!
Julie
Yes sir. I commit to make some one's day in 24 hours !
Hi, Mike - I'm definitely in on this. I have always been a great believer of focussing on people's positive points and strengths and acknowledging their efforts - even if they have not quite got it right, at least they tried. Thanks for highlighting this and assuring me that I am doing the right thing. I do commit, however, to make an extra effort every day in both my workplace and personal life to acknowledge, encourage and smile at those around me.
Dear Mike - absolutely true, unless you dieoff (give up) what you really want you will never achieve to the full. So start to give - and to begin encouragement is undoubtedly the primary tool.
Hi Mike,
Is being a habit to start the day by siping a cup of coffee, tuning in to the system and by reading your posts, to enter in another world. The world of BRAVE people. Rest assured Mike that few persons will be encouraged today and every day.
Mike,
You are absolutely correct. I will commit to 2 people in the next 24 hours for sure.
Hi Mike!
Of course I am in - I love to challenge people to look for the positive each and every day - it is amazing the difference you can make if you commit to finding something good to say to people. Whenever people ask how I am I find a great word to use, and having done this for almost 3 years in my workplace, people now think twice when I ask how they are, and they come up with a great word too. It helps them to smile, so I figure it is a good opportunity to bring some light in. By the way, I have been receiving your blogs for a while now but I have just started to read them again and am finding them truly inspiring - thank you!
You can do it. Powerful words. I'm probably stealing some self-improvement guru's thunder here but..those words are all people really need in life. You can handle it. You can get past it. You can acheive it. We just need to remember to say it to others - and most importantly to ourselves.
Hi Mike,
Right you are! Nothing gets people more inspired than a little pat on the back and some encouragement. A simple reminder that they CAN DO IT. On my call tomorrow night (for my MLM team) that's one thing I focus on, letting people know how I appreciate the great job they're doing for themselves AND for those they are helping to grow and advance. Keep up the great work.
I know the difference you make in my life Mike, and while I do try to encourage others maybe I don't do it enough. That's going to change . So little can mean so much.
Thanks for the new found steel in my life . Have a GREAT day everybody - 'cause I'm going to .
I love this! I always thought I was a happy, smiley encouraging person anyway, but I started putting this into practice yesterday by smiling at people, helping people in the supermarket (I'm tall so can reach those top shelves!), sying hello, and I had an amazing response: genuinely surprised and delighted that someone was prepared to be pleasant and helpful! The secret after effect then kicked in and gave me an amazing buzz -still smiling, and looking forward to doing it all again today!
Thanks!
Mike,
I have already tried in practice your instruction. I live in a country which faces really hard times. A country in a process of transition. Many people are unemployed and completely exhaust after years and years of tough times. I'm let say a kind of self- employed person, so in a last few months I tried to pass some of your brilliant advice to my friends. I also sent some of your mails, and I got impression that it worked. Some of them sent me sms saying thank you which made me happy.
Thank you so much!!!
Zorica
I'm in.
A little encouragement can go a long way.
Ok Mike, I am in. I am committed to lifting minimum of 2 people up every day henceforth. Shall keep u posted!
Thanks again Mike;
For reminding us your students and sometimes teachers, of this very important principle "as you give you shall receive" you want encouragement, as we all do, we have to give it to others.
I am committing to smile more at people, to show more love and look for the good in others, starting right now!
Our best days are ahead of us... All of us
Mike,
Count me in Totally. You have just brought one of the greatest gift from God to all mankind. I am committed to doing more of this from Today.
Thanks Mike
Every person I meet today will be uplifted and feel blessed.
Done!
Thanks Again Mike
I agree! It's the way I live my life anyway. I always smile and say hello to everyone, whether they like it or not. I live a positive & happy life and it has come back to me ten fold. My life is filled with loving and caring people! Thanks for always being positive and encouraging
us to be the best we can be! Keep up the good work!!
Great idea! I commit!
Great advice,There seem to be so many down and out people these days.It is time to lift em up!!!!!!!!
Hey Mike! Just love your postings. To get the encouragement (even if from the other side of the world) has made such a difference. I smile and chat to everyone I see as I walk the dog each morning. Quite an uplifting experience and so inexpensive but the rewards come back multiplied. Most people do love recognition, and a smile says so much. I've been doing the appreciation bit of late and it lifts the energies heaps!! Thanks.
Thank you Mike, I am taking the challenge of encouraging at least one person within the next 24 hours.
Thanks Mike!
Great idea!! My teenage son always asks me if I want a hug. Great way to encourage and show support to someone and I will now pass that hug onto others.
Mike we are all human beings. When we acknowledge to others encouragement, and how capable they are, its like changing old dead batteries in their flashlight. All of a sudden they exude light thats bright and shiny, that helps us also.Thats the beauty of hollidays like Christmas when we were young, there was always so much more power in giving than receiving. I hope we all realize that someday as a nation, I would hate to lose what we all have to give.
Hi Mike,
I love the enthusiasim and the encouragement you give, it just leaps out from your written words. My philosophy is to live in gratitude, love and forgiveness, so I am 100% behind what you are encouraging us to do, I give you the biggest smile possible. I have a little ditti that I will share..."Smile awhile and while you smile there will be miles and miles of smiles"
I've gained so much from your words in the past several months. Right now, there are two people in my life who need special encouragement. They are especially not loving towards me right now. One is my "girlfriend" who has in the past several months become my roommate;the other my daughter who is having a tough time with everything since her Dad got fired 10 days ago. I will be a powerful example of love for the next 24 hours to all I come in contact with, but, especially to them!
You guys are awesome, you made my day
The enthusiasm in giving to others is contagious. Through inspiring others to believe in themselves helps me as an individual to increase my confidence and self worth. A smile though small makes a big impact in anothers life, and words of encouragement are needed by everyone at some time.
Mike...let me say what a win-win this is. Like the saying goes, it takes two to Tango. Just smiling or saying a simple thank uplifts the person its directed towards, but the comment bounces back and uplifts YOU. I can remember telling a guard, retail employee, and others with 'Thankless Jobs' how I thought they were doing a GREAT job. Instant uplift!!! It made their day and mine.
Thank You Mike, I think you're doing a fantastic job. SMILE
Thanks Mike, for some more great thoughts! I'm a big advocate of the "pay it forward" concept. Let's hope your philosophy continues to spread and make the world a better place, where people help each other more.
Cheers!
Your message is very inspiring and encouraging to me.
Thank you for lifting my spirit and I will try to do the same for someone else.
No student is greater than her /his teacher but thanks for the compassion and big heart to give what you have received. For your efforts are not in vain. Count me in and my heart's desire is to increase the number of my encouragement list to over 100 this year.
You are great.
Every time I eat out, get gasoline or groceries I take less than ONE SECOND to THANK the person for working that day. 'Thank you for working today". Sometimes they are so SHOCKED..they ask me to repeat it, upon which I expand my thanks, "Thank you for working today, you have made MY life easier by coming in and being able to wait on me for my needs". ....I think by their reaction, NO ONE has ever thanked them for 'doing their job'...and just being there.
ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!
i love receiving your positive motivational thoughts. do unto others as you would have them do unto you, only do more.
Mike, Thank you for being there.... You have truely inspired me and helped me find my inner happiness. I will smile and encourage others everyday, sort of like a "pay it forward" Keep up the fantastic job.
I'm in.
Thanks for reminding all of us how meaningful just a small gesture can be.
It's easy to say that I will "encourage" someone today, but the truth behind encouraging others is to continue this process even if the recipient DOESN'T get it. Some day the light bulb will shine on that person and life will change. In the mean time, remember others that you touch will embrace your encouragement and pass it on to others.
The "Law of Attraction" can start with you! Begin today.
"Bring more "LOVERAGE" into your life!" If you do that, I believe you'll have much more "LEVERAGE" in your life
I LOVE IT!
Just do something...well, we did and now we're published. My friend, Richard Del Ammons, wrote Operation GoldStrike a number of years ago. When I held a workshop on how to find work you love, he came and we've been friends ever since. Now Operation GoldStrike (an economic recovery program based on heritage tourism) is available at http://www.lulu.com. You may also google Richard Del Ammons and that will take you right to the site. It's an ebook!
Hey Mike, has anyone told you YOU'RE TERRIFIC today?
Hi Mike this is definately good stuff, and I have been doing this as much as I can but we can can never give enough as we are all hurting in some way or another and we need that inspiration Thanks Oscar
Hi Mike:
Count me in Mike! Sometimes we get caught up in all the negative things that are happenning around us and in our lives that we forget to tell the people we care about the most how much we appreciate them.
Thanks for the reminder.

Too often, it's easy for some of us, for me, to do these things to others (job and business) and I forget to practice them with my own family which is really sad because charity (love) should begin at home.
Smiling is one thing I do a lot at work...very easy for me. I smile and encourage and motivate my co-workers and my team members. I do it and I enjoy it...all the time. It's when I have a bad day and I get home that the smiles go away. Easily I sometimes get upset and find things to criticize in my children. Tonight when I get home, whatever the day brings me, today I resolve to have a ready smile for my children. I will find something to praise in them and show my appreciation for the littlest good thing they do. I will remember to use encouraging words to motivate them so someday they can bring out the greatness in them. For they are, after all, most precious and dearest to me.
Thanks Mike and thank you ALL for making me realize this. God bless.
Mike great information and positive wisdom we can all make this wolrd a better place by encouraging and helping people who wants to help themselves, But don't know how to go about accomplishing that vision. It's people like you who gives willingly to help others.
I have a vision to help a whole lot of people, because God has blessed me to blessed others thru him
Thanks Mike
Alonso
Mike. A saing I like is "each one help one." I've found the more I help, the more I'm helped.
I just got the internet back and clicked on your daily email to me amd followed it up. This is great, lifted my day and got me ready to face my students.
thanks
steve
I have tried to good my whole life by smiling, supporting small businesses, etc. But this week your encouragement and some personal insights helped me understand that it's not about helping them, it's the desire to see others succeed. The success comes from the motive, not the outward "help" you've offered. Thanks for your encouragement!
OK. You're right.
Hi Mike,
I love you and I love what you are doing! I'm commited to enlarging other people's lives.
Warm regards,
Boniface
Mike I have been getting your newsletter for a couple of months and I like the way you encourage your readers and set them up for success in what ever they want to do. I am in and I can tell you two of the people I will encourage and say these things to will be my children...
Thanks Mike!!!
This is so important but never seems urgent enough to get to. I have 20 employees that are waiting for those "encouraging" words. So have to go now. I'm in.
A smile will work wonders, as will an encouraging word. I commit to that smile and that encouraging word to someone or several someones in the next 24 hours.
Dear Mike,
Your inspirational guidance over time has changed my outlook on life. I am more giving of myself and feel better about who I am as a result. For example, I just shoveled my neighbor's walkway before I read your email today. Thanks for your daily support.
Mike, great post today!
I try to live my life this way everyday, but I will absolutely commit to encouraging and brightening the day of AT LEAST 2 people in the next 24 hours!
Great Job Mike,
Count me in... Go Go Grow!
I'm in.
Dear Mike,
This is great I have been doing this for years. Thanks
I'm definitely in. I've tried to do this over the past few years, but 'only if the opportunity came along'. I will make a concerted effort to do this for at least one new person every week for the next four weeks, and any more that 'may come along'. Thank you for making this request. I know that it result in nothing but good for everyone.
I'm willing to give it a try.
Thanks Mike, for YOUR encouragement! I have always recognized the value of a smile and positive attitude, but you are teaching me to appreciate the challenge of honestly encouraging and demonstrating appreciation of others.. I'm definitely in!
Mike,
Thanks for being such an encourager to me. I've tried to be an encourager, but unfortunately selected the individuals I would enourage. This message says to me to spread it around, don't withhold encouragement from anyone!
Jackie
a simple smile has the ability to lift the spirit, impressions.
We may never fully realize how much we lift another's spirit and encourage them with just a smile. A SMILE can be the best gift you give to yourselves and others. I plan to SMILE as much as possible today.
So true-- we could influence other lives more than we'll ever know with just a smile or a kind word. I am in!
"Flatter me, and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you. Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. Encourage me, and I may NEVER forget you."
I make it a goal everyday to encourage atleast one person! I live for making people smile! It gives me those warm fuzzy's in my tummy!!!
To all: Have a SPARKLING DAY!!
Hello Mike. You've really been an inspiration.I am grateful for all the uplifting words you've shared. You're the greatest!
Thanks again Mike for your encouragement. Taking the focus off ourselves and help build others will give us a greater purpose that we can make a difference.
I find when I smile at everyone I meet, help someone with their groceries or make it a point to talk with particularly an elderly person, I think I am much more buoyed up than anyone who recieved my efforts/hopefully gifts.
A pat on the back and say "good job, nice work!"
Don't forget the pat on the back, human contact and a kind voice will go straight to the heart of "the patter" and "the pattee" !! Peace, KC
Dear Mr. Litman,
You aren't only amazing, but a phenomenom. You shall no doubt, can re-make our world with peace/harmony, love,
joy/happiness, instead of unwanted hatred, subjugation, man's inhumanity to man, and unnecessary wars.
I am not only on board with you, but shall challenge my
good self to touching at least five(5) people, a day.
Oh this is so true. I supported and encouraged a great friend and watched his income soar. He went on to brighten everyone around him with the simple curiousity and interest he showed in everyone. I in turn learned more from watching him do that and started doing it myself. It keeps spiraling upwards...fantastic
Mike:
I have read your encouraging words and applied as many as I can. Sometimes it's hard to change, but I am workng on it. I have developed the avility to "read" people, to tell if they are not feeling well, are down, or are hapoy . I try to reinforce the ups and temper the downs. Somtimes with a sympathetic ear, a hug or a smile. It works wonders for them and for me.
Keep up the good work.
Frank
What an honor to be a part of this today. I read every word of every post and was blessed by all that love and encouragement. With a grateful heart and wonderous tear filled eyes, I would like to thank each and every one of you. Mike, this is a winner, Thank You.
I am snowed in for the second day in a row but found two children outside playing and so I went out to encourage them and I have been making phone calls and sending out emails.
In Love and Light,
Liza
YO Mike,
There is someyhing good about every person and every situation if we look for it. Whatever you are looking for is what you are going to find. So look for the good and that's what you will see. Thanks
catchyaontherebound
APPRECIATION is one of my favorite words and perhaps one of the most underused. In fact, I like it so much that I made it an acronym for: Always Perceive Perfection Reflection. Everyone Can Inspire Another. Try It On Now. (APPRECIATION). A mirror can be a great catalyst to help us appreciate ourselves also. Tell that person in that mirror how much and in how many ways, "I appreciate you". Then go forth and multiply, i.e., "I appreciate you, Mike."
We too often forget to appreciate ourselves never mind others and if we did it every day this world would be a much pleasanter place. Thanks for the reminder Mike.
I have been doing this practice since I have finally found a job. I was for along time looking at everything I didn't have and not paying attention to all that I have achieved in life nad have decided to be an encourager at work and a better participant in my family. by encouraging and smiling and thanking them for being in my life. I have learned how to slow down and take in the scenery, and not let other people interfere with my goals. My biggest change is thanking the universe for putting me on this planet and giving me all that I have and will have. Thank you Mike for letting us all express ourselves and teaching us to be the people that we truly are
Life is a precious gift and we need to treasure and honer it in ourselves and others. Lighting the way for someone else lights the way for you as well.
Mike,
I am all in. This is a great idea.
Great Mike to team up in this forum and to share some enthusiam for our goals. Thankyou.
Mike you and I have the same mind set, I am promoting my opportunity with this caring method. I tell my prospect I care for them and will work with them and build up their confidence that the Lord does not create garbage and with the Lords help we will succeed. You must trust me and I work full time at this so I can help you with your prospects to set up a time we all can talk. This may not be the company way but I have to have this relationship to really help them. I really care and believe they will succeed.
DARRELL SITTER
I am in Mike, already done it a few times today. Thanks for helping me realize that I do have those positive qualities.
The more you give away the more you shall receive. Thanks for reminding me that everything we do is important.
Hi Mike I left a message a few hours ago of support to someone I haven't met yet who was asking to be brought up to date about her life goals. I replied with encouragement for her to see how the future will improve for her.
Hi Mike,
This reminds me of a comment my Dad used to say about being thankful for what we have. "If you are not grateful for what you have today, you will never appreciate what you have tomorrow." Each day my path crosses the path of others that help me on my way. I will be even more determined to thank each person I look at and tell them how much I appreciate who they are and what they are doing.
You inspire me, Thank you

I'm in times three!
Even though this is something I do often, I find that when I am not at my best, I shut myself off from others. Concentrating on still giving to or encouraging others brings me right back to positive mode.
Thanks Mike,
You are the best. I'm in.
Thanks. I commit to bringing some sunshine in some people's lives today, even the grouches!!
I'm commiting to being encouraging & hope the loverage goes viral...think how many positive changes we can make across the world!
Great challenge Mike!
I make my commitment to one and all to do my part to encoruage others and take it a step further and encourage those with whom I normally have issues and people I do not know. It will start with a smile and then a sincere compliment! Who knows where this will lead? Here's to bringing a lift to others!
Be Awesome!

Mike you are wonderful! im definitely in but i'm not sure if one person is enough for the next 24hrs. This very minute i just encouraged someone and i am going to continue until it becomes a life style from now on. Thanks Coach.
Mike - you are the best - I love your work. One of the things I always say when asked how I am is to say "I'm more interested in hearing how you are - I'm always well"
Hey Mike- I love encouraging people. It makes us all feel good.
You always know what I need even before I do.Hope GOD blesses you and yours today.(smile)
A Smile is an in-expensive way to make you look and feel better!
Think of how you feel when you are greeted with a smile. It improves everyones mood.
Thank you for the reminder to make someone else feel good makes yourself feel good!
Hi Mike and fellow travelers on the journey to success!
This one is easy, especially today. Nearly 40 years ago, I worked at an airline ticket counter where I encountered many stressed, rushed, anxious people and made it my habit to smile warmly to each one no matter how difficult they became. The few that smiled back or thanked me, made my day. As so often happens, your message is perfect, because I'm flying today, and this time it'll be my gift to each person to smile and say something encouraging. Isn't this message serendipitous? Thanks!
Absolutely Mike I agree whole heartedly and I am picking up my phone to assist 3 people today. My smile will be felt on the other end. Thanks for your Words of Wisdom. Smiling Right Back at You Coach
Mike,
I know that what you are saying is so true. In my career, I have found that there are too few people that hear an encouraging word. When I make an effort to be an "encourager" and a "good finder" my business increases 10 fold. Thank you for this reminder.
Mike, I look forward to your emails every day. You are so correct, what goes around comes around. I started the morning today sharing a word of encouragement with someone already even before I opened up your email. So, I will encourage another 5 people today. And this is for everyone:
The eyes are the window to your soul, and your smile is the window to your heart.
Have a fantastic day.
Michael:
What a great idea. You can count me in. I feel better already. I love helping people.
Thanks,
Judi
Mike, your regular messages and unlimited support have been very uplifting at a chaotic time in my life. I have always believed in lifting others else up, by words or actions, quite often by a hug. I am a dedicated 'hugger'.I subscribe to the attitude that helping others, doing for others benefits me as much as it does others. Even just a sincere word (Hello) and a warm smile may be the best treatment that person will receive that day. I will do more of this in the future. I would truly love to converse with the wonderful people who are reflected in these comments. Thanks so much!
This is true. When you invest in others, God invests in you. God is love.
My children have often asked me, "Why do you talk to everyone Mom, even the cashier at the grocery store?" I have always told them to the same thing. People take out their frustration on total strangers and sometimes yell at these cashiers. I have decided to smile, compliment them on their job, jewelry, something just so they can be uplifted. I know it brightens their day AND mine. Try it - you'll love it!
Encouragement is a fantastic day changer for anyone!! I'm going to focus on it today!!
Hey Mike,
thanks for all you do to encourage all of us!! you are great at boosting my spirits and belief! Keep up the good work! (So many are benefiting from it)
Hi Mike,
Thank you so much for your beautiful thoughts! Yes, I will and am doing this! It is our mission to shine our Light through a smile, a hug, or an encouraging word. Do to others what God does for us! Lets play being God on earth! When we do this people bloom instead of wither and life is expanded and evolved.
Keep shining your Light Mike, it's beautiful!
This is so true, just one encouraging word can change a life and persons direction forever

Mike, thank you kindly for the reminder. Being a teacher/coach, I keep my eye on the fact that uplifting people is what it's all about. I'm always looking for ways to bring out the good and noble in people, and I want you to know how much I appreciate your helping us to connect with that. Now I commit to doing a better job today than I did yesterday.

Hi everyone! This is wonderful, I'm in! I'm about to have lunch with someone I'm hoping will help me grow a new business, but this adds a new edge to it, and I'll actually present it more as something that can help HER business - too! I'll let you know... I'm also coaching a friend to get a grip of his family life, I'll work more on that tonight as well.

I'm in! I can't wait to start this!
I'm in! I have always believed in the power of positive reinforcement and words of encouragement. Sometimes, that is all it takes to change a person's outlook and one's opinion of himself/herself. Great article - I commit to giving words of encouragement to at least one person in the next 24 hours! Thanks!
I'm in. I love your newsletters.
Actually I commit to more than 1/day.
God Bless Your Good Works!
Thanks to you Mike. Even though this is a part of me I wanted to build your list just one more.
I believe GOD made me, therefore I must believe GOD made you. My goal everytime we talk is to draw GOD out of you and reveal the gifts HE has given you. Love does that
It's true, your blogs are great. Thanks
Waking up everyone morning is a great gift and seeing is believing when you open your eyes once again only to breath in and out and give thanks to today. Giving thanks and having gratitude is the beginning of your positive journey. When I received this e-mail today I knew I was in for fabulous discoveries.
Thank you for allowing me to share.
You're right. I am going the extra mile to help others. You have helped me. I am learning to take responsibility for everything I do. Job, relationships, food etc. Am I helping others? I need to be responsible for that too. After all, where would I be without people like you? To a great year.
Count me in. Smiling at complete strangers not only makes them feel good but me too, and to say to a team member that i believe in them encourages me not to let them down either.
Mike,I receive your letters in my walla mail which I don't open daily. I'm so gratefull that yesterday I decided to check it up. It's so encouraging to read it and all the other's comments! Is like all of a sudden I'm sourrounded by hundreds of friends and not feeling so lonely anymore! I've decided to commit myself to encourage everyday at least 1 person and first of all my children. Thank you Mike !
DOING WHAT YOU SAY IS EFFORTLESS FOR ME BECAUSE THAT IS MY NATURAL PERSONALITY. I KNOW IT WORKS SO BEING IN IS UNDERSTOOD.
THANKS FOR THE REASSURANCE.
Positive thinking and affirmations are always good and giving as well a getting them are even better
Outstanding topic, Mike.
It seems like lots of people know about the power of encouraging and praising others; however, don't really apply them. I feel that your post will encourage many people to go ahead and apply it, at least for the next few days, and hopefully feel its impact on others. I have several people in mind that deserve lots of encouraging words.
I will write a follow up post later to explain how things went.
Dear Mike:
I'm in! But not just for one day but for the rest of my days.
Thanks for reminding us to love each other.
We all love you.
G-d bless you!
I am in. I know that encouragement is very motivating and I am willing to continue doing so to the people around me.
Thanks Mike,
I sometimes find myself getting caught up in the turmoil of daily life , and forgetting the importance of
interaction with others. You reminded me how much better
I feel , when I make someone else feel better.
I commit to doing this EVERY day !
Mike,
Encouraging others is seeing the possibility that they do not and sharing it with them in a manner which gets them to lift their head and begin to see it. In the process of seeing life like this for another we see so many new ways to BE LOVE!
Wonderful -- each day at least one! Thanks a ton
Love
I believe in you,Mike - You are the great. Thanks
Mike,
I'm in. My father taught me when I was a child that a smile and a hello doesn't cost you anything and you may gain from the actions.
I view part of my job as a college professor to be a coach, cheerleader and mentor that helps students achieve their goals.
Thanks Mike,you are really upliftman!
Thanks Mike, I will be keeping this in mind, I have an encouraging phone call planned, but know I can do so much more if I open my eyes to the possibilities, thank you to my fellow coachees for their ideas!
Mike,
I'm in. You've not only made my day, you may well have encouraged a major benefit in my life as I attempt to love my neighbor as myself.

You Can Do It MICHAEL
May Source Bless
Great idea and so helpful to everyone involved. I know several people who could use some kind words now.
This is one of the quickest and cheapest ways to encourage our fellow man! And as any habit, it will come automatically if we practice it 18 hours a day. Mike, I'm in. And, I appreciate you!
I am committing to making someone else happy and making them feel good about themselves, and I will do this within 24 hours...
I am reporting to you now that I have done what I promised to do just 24 hours ago, and I feel so much more ready for this world. It strengthens oneself to help others 200% in yourself...
I am used to encouraging people;but from now on I´ll do it in this way:I love you;I believe in you;You are...what I want them to be.The way I encourage myself, is the same I´ll do to all people.
For quite some time, I have tried to compliment at least one person a day. The rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," really goes a long way. I edit/write the church newsletter. Today several people complimented me on the way it looks this time. By giving out compliments, a multiple number are received back again. Thank you, Mike, for your encouragement.
you are right, it makes me feel so good when i help someone or encourage them, i work at a university and working around students it is wounderful,i try to encourage them and tell them i am proud of them. as i do my maintanence job, it feels great to help people, i love it.
What ur talking about is real, i know this because its happening in my life right now. This world is filling with more and more love, people are slowly starting to realise we ARE all the same. Quantum physics is starting to prove we are all 1...aint that great : )
I'm going to tell 5 of my friends today I love them and let them know I mean it!
Here in Nigeria, the morning starts with extensive greetings including asking how the other person slept. Asking how his/her work is and also praying for the well being of each other. A fulani man gets disappointed when after greeting him you do not ask about his cattle.
I can't simply afford not to express appreciation about other peoples well being since it is the function of their well being that keeps me ok.
So my dear How do you do? May God bless you as you read this and that problem will soon resolve it self naturally.
Let's all keep smilling for that is what the world is all about.
Love ya.
