How To Stay Focused For Life

by Mike Litman

Scattered. Swayed easily. A ton of wasted time.

Why?

Jumping opportunity to opportunity. Failure is all that’s
left to witness.

Why?

For many years of my life this was me.

I was drowning in the sea of mediocrity and I wasn’t wise
enough to see it.

Now I can’t stand seeing people in the same place I used to
be in.

I can’t stand it.

I can’t stand seeing wasted potential.

It infuriates me.

Why are many people so easily scattered, so massively
unfocused, and masters of wasting time?

“Mike, great question, can you tell me the answer.”

Absolutely.

I’m going to focus on ONE answer. An IMPORTANT answer.

People don’t have a personal CONSTITUTION to live from.

People don’t know what values are important to them.

People don’t know how to set proper priorities in their life.

People don’t know what they want their life to look like.

People don’t have enough control over their life.

I’ve been there. I have the ‘T-Shirt’ as well.

People need a CONSTITUTION to live life from.

What is their mission, what is important to them.

It must be in writing.

Look at America. What started America’s greatness was its
CONSTITUTION.

It is a platform to make decisions and live from. It sets the
rules for the country.

It showed us the promise of what was potential if the
citizens followed it.

Many political observers will say America has lost
‘something’ as it has moved away from its true constitutional
principles. As it has moved away from its foundation for
being. (This is not about politics, please don’t email me if
you agree or disagree.)

Just as nations needs constitutions so does its citizens.

When people don’t have a basis to live from, don’t have
principles to live off, don’t know what values are most
important, the wind takes them east, west, then, north and
south.

Spend time and write down ‘Your Constitution of Greatness’.

Make it one piece of paper. Simple. What is important to you.

Review it daily. Set your day and priorities based off what’s
most important to you.

It’s way, WAY, too easy to let our environments control our
lives.

The phone, people, TV, everyone wants your attention.

Those who fight for their greatness understand and respect
the value of their time.

They spend time on what’s most important, NOT what’s most
urgent. (read this again)

Take 10 minutes today. Start writing ‘Your Constitution of
Greatness’.

What’s most important to you? What do you want your life to
be about? Who’s important to you? Are you spending enough
QUALITY time with them?

I don’t think life’s about trying to make a ton of money and
being semi-miserable.

So many people chase money in such a negative way. They think
it’s the only important thing in life.

Yes, money is important. THOUGH, your life is MORE
IMPORTANT. Experience riches personally, financially,
spiritually, and more.

I can’t stand when I waste my potential and I’m not going to
let you waste yours either.

Those with clarity employ those without clarity.

You don’t have to get it right, just get ‘Your Constitution
of Greatness’ going.

Grab a pen/paper, your favorite beverage. Shut the door. Give
yourself 15 minutes to start.

If you don’t know where your focus should be, plenty of
people will be happy to tell you.

No. No. No. You control your focus. You control your
priorities. You control your time.

Be a G-WARRIOR, a greatness warrior. Fight for your
greatness.

Is now -your- time?

Love Ya! You’re The Best!

Your Coach,

Michael
