Important.
Yes, you are very important.
To yourself and to many others.
I'm important as well.
Though for years, I discounted my talents, gifts, and strengths.
Totally discounted. I totally brushed them aside.
What a mistake I made. Big time.
I started thinking recently about something and it just made so much sense.
In a span of 2 days last week, I spoke to 3 people that I've helped and because of the actions they've taken, their lives have been transformed.
I said, "Wow, what could have happened if I didn't help them, would they have got here as fast, ever?"
Then I said, "Wow, What if all the people that have helped me personally didn't offer their help? What if they never wrote the books that changed my life? What if they didn't become their best and help me?"
Here's the bottom line.
What you and I have, posses, know, and can do is IMPORTANT.
VERY IMPORTANT.
You're not here for everyone, you're here for someone.
It's very important that you hear this again.
You're IMPORTANT.
There are people desperate for the best 'you' right now. Desperate.
You're a solution to someone's problem. They need you.
They're aching for you.
Don't go to marketplace trying to scheme people, pull wool over their eyes.
Lead with value. Lead with the intention of serving and changing people's lives.
Lead.
Many people struggle with money their whole life because they seek to reap a harvest without putting any seed in the ground. It doesn't work that way.
Be a reward for others. Make people feel good. Help them. Appreciate them.
Don't chase money. Chase making an impact. Chase treating people like you'd like to be treated.
We're living in an age that will see a rebirth of the practice of the Golden Rule.
Amigo, you're an important person. Start sharing your talents and gifts in a bigger way.
YOU can do it. Many people need you to.
Love Ya! You're The Best!
Your Coach,
Mike

Hi Mike,
You are so right!
When I started sharing with others value instead of just trying to sell them, they started coming to me and asking what I had to offer.
My business has been growing daily since I started giving people value about 8 months ago...and is growing faster than ever during this economy because I have something of great value to offer people.
Thanks for all the great advice!
Have a great day!

Wow, I often get bored reading about how to be all that I can be so to speak but in this moment I actually really needed to read this. Uncanny. Thanks for your efforts Mike Litman...I'm new to "Twitter"...still not quite conceptually there (but I do hate "chat-room" chatter). Since you've put out the invitation you'll find me as one of your "followers".
Mike... my friend, I have been following you since you guys first released Conversations years ago.
This was such an on-time post and really hit the core of what I need and obviously so many of us need to realize regarding our contribution to man-kind.
Thanks for your contribution and insight, it has been helpful... I think I will listen to Greatness Held Hostage again...
SEE YOU AT THE TOP!

Great posting and sharing Mike! Life IS Grand are we to cause it to be thru our intentions and actions. You've got "the secret" working for you and I applaud your efforts to inspire and encourage others to as well. Carpe Diem!
Thank you, Mike. What really hit me this time was, "You’re not here for everyone, you’re here for someone." Too often we get caught up trying to make sure we meet everyone's needs. There is nothing that will work for everyone because we'll all individuals. We have to just do our thing and know that we will be helping someone!
Have a wonderful day!
Mike, Your a winner thanks for the inspiring, motivating, truth in your post.
"The golden rule" is the only way for a positive life, I have learnt the hard way.
Thank God for people like you helping people, leading us to the the way, the truth, and the good life.
God Bless,
Dimi.
Absolutely spot on, Mike.
All of our lives, we have been helped by people. And the help those people gave to us is important.
We are all in a position to help people - by sharing what we know, what we have learnt, what we have put together.
Everyday, I'm working to get out a message about simple practical steps that people can take to help themselves in the economic crisis we are facing.
That's how I'm trying to help.
And you are pointing out to us just how important we are. We should never think "just little old me - what can I do?" - we can do plenty.
Thanks for the reminder Mike,
Craig

Hey Mike:
This is absolutely so true. When you tap into your higher purpose of helping others be more, do more and have more it is just such an amazing feeling. And, you know then why the path you traveled had to be - to make you the person you are today to help that one person you are meant to help today. http://www.CoachRobinHarpe.com
Thanks Mike! Your posts are so empowering.
For years I had such a low self-evaluation by listening to accusers, abusers and nay-sayers. I had believed a lie!
When we break away and begin to view ourselves based on a higher value and belief sysyem; we connect with greatness within us. It is the place where God lives, ha!
Today I am able to exhort leaders to overcome anything in life by the power of love. I am finally doing what I was born to do in life. And had to learn to give value. It was hard at first, I had to apractice how to receive as well. It is most humbling and rewarding. My goal is to reach and help empower one billion leaders.
I am preparing to start my own blog.talk radio show very soon and would love to have you on as my guest along with others that have influenced my life. In the marketplace, in ministry, in life: we must choose and design our lives with passion for purpose.

Hi Mike,
Loved the article. It is all about the value you have to give to others. I am very passionate about my direct sales business and the benefits it gives to others. I have been training my team on this. Reading this has given me a clearer understanding on how to do this. The fear of Sales has stopped so many people because they did not understand this point. I really appreciated this article. Thanks so much.
Thank you Mike.
Today I needed to hear your message. I almost didnt' say thank you, which would have been very wrong.

Nice artable Litman.

Thanku mike.
Mike,
I struggle with this quite often. It's really comforting to know that I'm not the only one
Even though I know I'm talented, unique, and the gifts I have is the answer to someone's prayers, sometimes I feel downright worthless. I'm printing this out as a reminder that I am IMPORTANT.
Thanks Mike.
Mike, thanks a lot for continually reminding us. I am richly blessed by reading your message again.
God bless you & family richly in the name of Jesus Christ- Amen
