Over the years...
People have stepped on your self confidence.
People have stepped on your self faith.
People have stepped on your self image.
People have stepped on your business ideas.

Some of them have had bad intentions; some thought they were
just 'loving' you.

positive, goal oriented mind.

Nothing will change until you start DEPOSITING thoughts of
belief, power, conviction, and winning in your MIND.
Only you can do this.

One of the greatest challenges I face with the people that come to through http://www.lifetosuccess.com , is self doubt!
People, for some reason, are afraid to give themselves credit for anything they can do.
Another side effect of this is, the fact that they set goals way to short for their capabilities instead of what they really want or desire.
On a side note for anyone in sales, before you make the sales call, all you have is a NO! The worse thing that can possibly happen after the sale is that you still have a NO! But if you get that YES, it can mean huge changes in your life and your self esteem but you have to ask!

You are so right on. Self confidence is one of the keys to success that I discuss in my latest book "Straight Talk for Success." To me it is the foundation on which all success is built. It is so important, that I blog about it every Monday on my http://www.SuccessCommonSense.com blog.
You're also right when you say that people step on our self confidence in the name of love. It's unfortunate but true, a lot of people tell us to not even try, because if we try and fail, we'll get hurt.
I believe that if you love someone, it's best to tell him or her "go for it." It's OK to fail as long as you try, and as long as you learn from your failures.
We can all achieve a lot more than we often think we can. Self confidence allows us to dare to try -- and succeed.

Once again a great motivating topic! And the doubt ties into other things such as perfectionism. Sometimes we need to give ourselves permission to push through the doubt... to ignore it even for a few minutes. It takes courage to just go for it... but the rewards of doing so are immense!
