Comfortable.
Foggy Vision.
"Mike, this is how high I'll ever go."
"Mike, I got further then my parents, this is enough for me."
Thoreau said millions of people live lives of quiet
desperation.
They do.
Here's one reason.
They settle for their current level.
Their current level of success.
Their current home.
Their current environment.
Their current car.
Their current friends.
***They become comfortable with the level they're at right
now.
No. No. No. Amigo.
Not you. Not at all.
We were born to go, grow, and increase. (Read this again)
Look around at nature. Increase is the goal. Become larger.
If we settle for what we have, if we think this is the
highest we'll ever go, then we just made the decision to go
backwards.
Life's always moving forward or backward. We can't stand
still.
Cut the cr**.
You can do more.
Why are you settling for where you're at right now? Why?
Thousands of years ago, it was said, "Without a vision,
people perish."
You must EXPAND THE VISION for your life.
See a life larger then you've ever imagined. You can. Yes,
you.
Here's what I want you try for 72 hours. Scratch that. 24
hours.
***Create a DISTASTE and DISLIKE (an anger) for your current
level.
Let me say it again.
***Create a DISTASTE and DISLIKE (an anger) for your current
level.
The spark inside of you must be ignited and be drawn out.
Yes, anger precedes change.
Use anger to your advantage. Athletes like Michael Jordan
have been using this technique for decades.
Have such an obsession for helping people solve a problem,
care about them so much, that the GREATEST you will be drawn
out.
An educated person is not one with a lot of knowledge.
An educated person is one who has DRAWN OUT their best and
put it into action.
Here's the bottom line.
The world needs you. Badly. Bigtime.
It needs the best you.
It needs the solution ONLY you have.
Create distaste for your current level and rise up to the
greatest you.
You don't need to add 50% or 100% more effort.
1% will do. Be 1% better today. That's it.
Your next 90 days will be incredible. See it now. What does
your greatest life look like?
Without a vision, people's profits perish.
I believe in you. So does everyone else reading this right
now.
Get going.
Love Ya! You're The Best!
Your Coach,
Mike

I need to talk to you.
Thanks Mike.I definitely need a bigger vision. I started a website with your help but am struggling to grow it

You have hit the nail right on the head. Mostly all have just said ok. Well yesterday, I said Yes I will go higher.
Thanks for the confirmation

Mike,
Periodically, your messages come at times when I couldn't agree with you more...
Today you out did yourself (and me).
I have this burning desire to create a life-freeing income online and every time I get the next 'good idea' to apply it I'm out of work.
Currently, that situation has been around for about a month and a half now. The bills are piling up and Christmas doesn't look very merry.
I hear what you're saying in your message though and my 'anger' is coming to a slow boil as I write this.
There are no decent paying J.O.B.'s around here right now and to take anything less than $300 a week would cost me money just to get there.
I know there are ways to make money online and come hell or high water I'm going to find a way. Finding my niche is pretty hard though because there are so many things I like and know how to do. I'm not much on 'social' stuff - though I suppose that's due to not having the 'funds' to 'go out and play'...
Anyway, I'm being pulled towards blogging and was wondering (for marketing sake) if some of the social networking sites are a good idea. I'm not one to talk much about my personal life and/or details but, doesn't these sites solicit that?
Please let me know what you think...
Thanks!
Mike, you have such a big heart, thank you for sharing it with us. Have a wonderful Christmas.
Peace, Love and Light,
Sheila
I've been doing my gratitude list every night too.
Chocolate helps too!
How long does it take b4 the breakthrough? What can people expect to go through along the way?
Hi Mike,
When I was growing up, we were taught to be happy with what we had. Isn't it funny how those things we were taught as children will sometimes come back to haunt us as we search for success as adults. I agree with you that too many of us settle for what we have because of old tapes that are running in our head. If we want to become successful, we HAVE to do something to change the way we think. Personal growth is the #1 positive thing you can do for yourself to get where you want to go!

Dear Mike, You said it, and it is the way to go. Your message came in the nick of time.... Merry Christmas to you and yours!! You are such a help to me.
Hi Mike,
You always have such great advice...
I don't remember where I heard it, maybe from one of your CD's or Tony Robbins but when you want something that's not a very strong desire so usually you won't get what you just want, but when you absolutly MUST HAVE something because of your current situation you always find a way to get it.
Every one has to turn their wants into MUST HAVES and they will see their lives move forward much quicker.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Mike,
This is AWESOME! I recently made the decision to leave a well paying J.O.B. to pursue the vision God has for my life. This post confirms the burning the desire deep within me. Have a wonderful day.
You always have such great encouragement - Thanks! 1% better... okay, I'm ON IT! Love & blessings...
Hey Mike, you are definitely in tune with so many of us. Thank you and have an amazing holiday!
Love and blessings,
Leanna
Awesome article my friend! It was like a blast from the past for me. I remember many years ago I was having trouble because my dad never made more than $26,000 per year his whole life. I didn't think it was right for me to make more than that, and every time I did, I slid right back down.
I remember the day you and I were in Atlanta several years ago. We were having dinner with a bunch of the old gang from the CwM club. You told me what you just shared with the world on your blog. It got my thinking straight and I've never looked back!
Mike, thank you for doing what you do. I consider it a great honor to call you my friend. The world is a better place, each and every day, just because you are in it. Just because you share your heart with everyone you see.
Keep going and never stop!

Hi, Mike.
I see this entry has been good for a number of people, but I beg to differ - and respond as follows:
“Thoreau said millions of people live lives of quiet
desperation.
They do.â€
I agree – but not with your answer as to why.
People live lives of quiet desperation because they don’t distinguish between having and being. They don’t distinguish between arriving and traveling.
There is no reason to be unhappy with your current level of success – if your happiness does not keep you from continuing the journey to greater success (which may or may not be based on the acquisition of $$$!).
There is no reason to be unhappy with your current home – or your current car – or your current environment – if they support you in the successes that are important to you.
There is certainly no reason to be unhappy with your current friends – if they are true friends – people you are traveling with on the upward road.
Why not be comfortable with the level you’re at right now? – You worked for it. You earned it. Enjoy it. Celebrate it. --- But don’t stagnate in it.
Truly, “We were born to go, grow, and increase.â€
But, if you really “Look around at nature,†you will see that not all things grow. Some things diminish in order for other things to grow. Many things change in form, but never in size. Some things give life and some things take it. Everything in nature has a purpose and a contribution to make – however almost none of nature’s purposes demand driving ambition, competition and discontent to be accomplished.
Yes, Thousands of years ago, it was said, “Without a vision,
people perish.†– But I believe the prophet was speaking of a different vision than some of those you advocate.
I absolutely agree that “You must EXPAND THE VISION for your life.
See a life larger than you’ve ever imagined. You can. Yes,
you.â€
However, I believe that people are much more motivated – and much more happily motivated – by being drawn towards a positive vision than they are by being driven to escape a negative condition (actual or potential).
I think that developing the “DISTASTE and DISLIKE (an anger) for your current
level†is exactly what leads people to ‘lives of quiet [or not so quiet] desperation.â€
“The spark inside of you must be ignited and be drawn out.†But not with anger.
“Have such an obsession for helping people solve a problem,
care about them so much, that the GREATEST you will be drawn
out.
An educated person is not one with a lot of knowledge.
An educated person is one who has DRAWN OUT their best and
put it into action.
Here’s the bottom line.
The world needs you. Badly. Bigtime.
It needs the best you.
It needs the solution ONLY you have."
Don’t waste your energy on being angry – Use it to put in the effort needed to “Be 1% better today. That’s it.
Your next 90 days will be incredible. See it now. What does
your greatest life look like?
Without a vision, people’s profits perish"[?!] Profits are insignificant in the big scheme of things. People live on more than ‘profit’ – their peace and health and happiness are of much greater importance.
I encourage you to celebrate where you are, build a vision of what you want to be and do, and enjoy the journey.
I believe in you, too. So does everyone else reading this right now.
Have a great day!
Margaret Ida
Mike--excellent article today. If you are not uncomfortable and you don't get angry about it, nothing changes. The worst thing is to be comfortable. Whenever I hear people describe their economic condition as comfortable, I know they aren't going to get much further in life or their finances. Keep up the good work! We all can get 1% better

This is so true. It is the innate nature of mankind to look for expansion, improvement of our condition. Look: Da Vinci, the Vikings,Columbus,Edison, the Western frontier,Moon landing; all these are examples of natural human endeavor: to go further, better, beyond our "horizon, our limits". Go and set your goals high, very high.
"The sky is the limit?" no! The infinite Universe? yes!
Wishes of Happiness and Natural Abundance to you all!
Tips:Read everyday something positive so you can create more abundantly. and stay away from gossipers, not good for you! Help, share, care,be generous...tools for expansion. (Also: love people like they are all your friends)
Wishes of Happiness and Natural Abundance to you all!
At 63, somehow I had forgotten why I was alive, why I get out of bed in the morning. Thank you for reminding me of the only thing I can change, ME BECOMING A BETTER PERSON every day for as long as I live. I am a factory retiree with MS. Thanks again.
Hi Mike,
You're simply amazing. Been reading your inspiring messages for quite some time and I love the way you put it across - in small crisp sentences. I admit I will copy your style of writing and start creating little nuggets of wisdom in my mother tongue - Tamil. Thanks for the uplifting messages and keep more of them coming.
With luv
