“I’m not sure if I could accomplish this goal.”

“Let me follow them, I don’t know if I have the talent on
my own.”

Ridiculous.

The things we say to ourselves and believe about ourselves.

Simply ridiculous.

Are you sitting down? Good, move your chair in a bit.

***The world is built by people who BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES.

“Mike, say that again.”

Sure amigo.

Because so many people have been beat down over the years,
they’ve handed their approval and validation over to
others.

They’ve taken their ’self’ and filed it away.

No. No. No.

You, your SELF, is the most powerful component you have for
successful living.

When we don’t believe in ourselves we say “No” to
intelligent risks and the fear of rejection puts us on the
sidelines of life.

We’re not able to stretch ourselves and push against our
limiting beliefs.

For some, their hearts, minds, and souls have been poisoned
by the mental mud those around them have pushed their way.

The negativity is so strong that it has done great harm to
their spirit.

My friend, the THOUSANDS of people reading this at this
exact second BELIEVE IN YOU. Believe this. Feel this.

I believe in -YOU-.

I’ve had to work for years on increasing my own belief in
myself, it’s not usually an ‘over night’ result.

Challenge yourself TODAY to believe in yourself 1% more.
That’s it.

“Mike, I want to fast forward my belief in myself, give me
a tip to do this, ok?”

For you my friend, of course, here it is.

The FASTEST way ever created to lift the belief in yourself
is to BELIEVE IN SOMEONE ELSE FIRST.

What we want for ourselves, we should be first giving
OTHERS.

Say to someone sincerely in the next 48 hours, “(Their
first name), I believe in you and what you’re doing.”

Get addicted to passing sincere BELIEF into others.

Watch your self esteem soar.

It’s tough to live your greatest life without an adequate
or better belief in yourself.

Stand up and leave the ’spectator seats’. Get in the field,
get in the game, let the GREATEST you shine.

Shining so bright your gifts could light up the summer sky.

You’re more important than you know.

Who you are will be felt by generations you never meet.

Be the best example you can be of successful living. That’s
my goal, your goal, all of our goals.

Tell your SELF you’re great today.

Hi Mike,
If every night we pour clean water into a "special" glass and say to it "you are filling up with more of my self beliefe and will become part of me in the morning". Then when you awaken drink your glass of water knowing you are watering your own self beliefe seeds. This is a simple way of re-inforcing your growing internal knowledge and repeating this action every morning is a very positive act for your life. Love Dolores

Thanks again Mike - true, this is not an overnight happening but persistent effort pays off - after a while, suddenly one day, it is possible to take a look at yourself and realise just how far you have come.

One of the ways in which I know this is to be true is the fact that I have totally erradicated certain negative words from my vocabulary;it does not even cross my mind to use them in conversaation with myself or others!

very nicely put mike, however i would also like to inject, how can one not accept themselves unconditionally or believe in themselves for they are their foundation.our life is fostered within and transpires outward and attracts that of which are our thoughts on a conscious and unconscious level.so there fore we as humans must under diverse situation must learns to condition and chanel negative energy to positive energy in order to manifest and choose what we desire in our lives mentally,emotionally and physically.as well as blending and balncing these 3 realms.learn to live outside the ego.thanks for your inspiring teachings,peace and harmony to all.

That message seems so simple, but so MANY people find it hard to apply! It took me some time to apply this to the areas of my life that needed it most. What a burden to carry around day in and day out. It was like a mountain off my shoulders. Believing in yourself can and will help you focus without the pressure of "will I succeed?" feeling, because you now can believe and succeed!!

Great Blog. Got one for you; what do you do if you have always believed in yourself, are positive by nature. As a consequence you know you can do it, so you simply don't bother!
But, when you are fired up and ready, phew you are red hot!

I've said it before, Mike - you have the ability to say so much in just a few words.

Just over thirty years ago, when I was in a poor state financially, I started a new business with a partner (a successful businessman) - things were hard, and we were not getting on well together and we decided to split.. He offered me $5000 to get out, saying that I wasn't capable of running the business myself. I disagreed and offered him a get-out deal, which he accepted (I think he had made me the offer out of pity!).

Fourteen years later, I sold the business (by then the most important company in its field in the United Kingdom) and retired in comparative luxury - I am still enjoying that retirement - twenty years later.

I believed in my own abilities and determination, in a situation where I could so easily have accepted his offer and got out without a loss.

It was that belief in myself, not my knowledge (the business was completely different to anything I had known before), not my education (limited), and not my past business experience (pretty poor), that made it happen. Keep spreading the word, Mike - good luck to you and all your readers.

Great post once again! It's a common thing to be struggling with self belief. I wish there was a magic pill that we could all take to eliminate self-doubt, and eliminate the belief that someone else might know what to do, know the answer! But there's not a magic pill... what we have instead is a magic person called Michael giving us lots of messages to reaffirm our ability.

Not unfamiliar material for me. You are what you think (Ayurveda) Mind over Matter. But, sometimes. 'existence' tosses that snowball embedded and hidden within is a rock and your face then functions as a break. And, you didn't see it coming... Weren't supposed to since you functioned inside this material. Maintaining that stretch of being 'centered' enters as a challenge, not 'the original problem'. Metaphorically, a roller coaster ride.

Thank you once again for to us the important messages you are the messenger for.

You are so right about who built the world around us. There may have been some "accidental" discoveries and findings, but it took someone to think about it, create a plan, step forward and make that plan a reality.

I would be willing to bet that in 99.9% of those instances, there were plenty of people around who said "You can't do that!", and if not for self belief and self confidence, most of our world, as we know it, would probably not exist!

I am very glad that all those builders, thinkers & inventors found someone "they" could believe in and who believed in them enough to propel them to build the world we know today. Even if that someone was themselves!

As Napoleon Hill says, "If You can Believe it, You can Achieve it!"

Simply put Mike! The best advice ANYONE can get!

There is way too much out there hammering us down and telling us we need more experience, more education, we are to young or too old... I say BUNK to ALL of it!

I choose to believe I can do ANYTHING I put my mind to. Why, because I will find out whatever I need to know to accomplish the goals I set for myself.

I think the key is that YOU set the goals for YOU! Because you will ALWAYS work harder and smarter for goals YOU set for yourself rather than those set for you by someone else.

Who has YOUR best interest in mind? That's right, YOU!!
