Here's how Kathy Changed Her Life

Hey!!!

Hope you're having a great week!

I just received this email and wanted to share it with you because my brand new 'Unleash Your Greatness Success System' is helping so many people change their lives.

"Mike, I'm a mother of 3 and have been trying to get ahead the last 3 years, but it's been tough. I know I needed to take action, but wasn't sure how to get over my own fears and own procrastination. My sister recommended your system to me last week and I bought it. I can't tell you how great I'm feeling and it's only been 72 hours. You make things so clear and simple that it's easy to break through old habits and old fears.

Mike, thanks so much."

His Advice Was 'Make A Fool Out Of Yourself'

Hey Future Millionaire,

There's so much value in reading about the successes of other people.

You can get so much from it.

I was reading a recent edition of Forbes Magazine and the theme was "the best advice I ever got" and I want to share one story with you.

The magazine was interviewing billionaire Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Atlantic Airways, and he said something very interesting.

Talking about his mentor, Freddie Laker, Branson said:

"At the time, I was running a little record company; I was about 17 years old. The first time I met him was some years later. I was thinking about setting up my own airline. He gave me this advice: 'You'll never have the advertising power to outsell British Airways. You are going to have to get out there and use yourself. Make a fool of yourself. Otherwise you won't survive'."

Many people ask me, they say, "Mike, what are some tips on how to be successful?"

I want to share one with you that was very tough for me; I still struggle with it today at times, but I've had my share of victories as well.

If you re-read the quote above from Richard Branson, you'll see that his mentor gave him the advice of "Make a fool out of yourself." I want to say it a different way to you.

I'll say it this way:

You're not going to unleash your greatness and reach your financial goals if you don't STRETCH YOURSELF.

Fact.

To do something great you must first be uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable always comes before comfortable.

Michael Dell, Tiger Woods, Warren Buffet, Julia Roberts all stretched themselves a ton, they took risks, and they had the COURAGE to persevere.

Here's the good news.

You don't need to stretch yourself 100%, 50% or even 25%.

This is what you need to do today.

Stretch yourself 1%. Yes, that's it!

Ask yourself:

What is one action that I know I need to do today, but that is uncomfortable and tough for me to do?

DO IT!

Is it prospecting, public speaking, asking for a raise? Whatever it is, stretch yourself and GO FOR IT.

I believe in you and it's time you 'knock the ball out of the park' and live your dreams.

Richard Branson was scared also, he had a ton of fears and probably still does to this day.

He just made the DECISION to go for it and now he's one of the wealthiest people in the world.

Give yourself the gift of stretching yourself 1% today.

You'll love yourself for it.

Talk to you soon.

Hey!

Hope you're having a GREAT week!

I want to share with you a powerful principle that I've used to change my life and that you can use to unleash your greatness.

Tiger Woods knows this.

Bruce Springsteen knows this.

Oprah Winfrey knows this.

Name someone great and you can bet dollars to donuts they know this as well.

Before I share this insight with you, I want you to know you don't always have to be on your 'game' and great.

"Mike, did you just say I don't always need to be 'great'?"

Yes I did and let me explain.

I want to share with you the principle of what I call GAME TIME.

Let's look at the world class golfer Tiger Woods.

If you ever watched Tiger Woods play golf in a tournament, you saw an intense, fierce, focused athlete who is concentrating very intently on winning.

For those 3 or 4 hours of the tournament that day, Tiger Woods is 'someone else' and here's what I mean.

If you saw Tiger Woods 5 hours after the match with this wife at the movies, do you think he'd be so intense, so focused, so determined?

The answer is no way, he'd be relaxed, laughing, having fun.

Why this change in Tiger Woods from focused to laughing?

Because he understands the POWER OF GAME TIME.

He understands that he only has to be GREAT and 'on' during the moments the game is on.

Here's an example.
Let's say you're in sales and you prospect 4 hours a day or even 30 minutes a day.
That's your ‘game time.’
You need to be focused, organized, have a plan and prepare.
Have you ever seen a rock star on stage and they’re so energetic, running around and the crowd is going wild?
Check them out 4 hours after the concert - are they acting like that?
No chance, they're acting their normal self.

Here's what you need to do.
You need to ISOLATE the times during the day that you need to be at your best.
Maybe time with your clients, with prospects, working on a project at work.
For Tiger Woods, his game time is his gold match.
For Bruce Springsteen, it's when he's on stage at a concert.
For a great chef, it's when he's preparing a meal.
Isolate that time and then ask yourself this question:
If I was going to be powerful, focused and ready to win during game time, what actions would I take today, how focused would I be, and what would my next 2 action steps be?
It's funny, you don't need to be 'on' 24 hrs a day; find the 20% of your day that's GAME TIME.
When Steven Spielberg is directing a film, he changes into this focused, intense director.
When is your GAME TIME today?
Isolate it. Turn up your ENERGY and enthusiasm<< And then give it your all. Discovering your game time moments and maximizing them will bring you immense and quick rewards. You can be as great as Tiger, Oprah, Spielberg, Michael Dell and the rest.

Talk to you soon.

Who Is Dietrich Mateschitz?

Hope you're having a GREAT Day!

Last night I was reading the latest issue of Forbes magazine.

It's an awesome magazine and this specific issue was about a group of 620 people that have something in common.

They're all billionaires.

I started reading the story of the first person they were featuring and as I got deeper and deeper in the story, powerful success insights jumped out to me that I wanted to share with you.
The story was about Dietrich Mateschitz.

I didn't recognize his name either, but reading further I recognized what he’d built.

Have you seen the energy drink 'Red Bull' that's been a huge hit in the U.S. and worldwide over the last 5 or so years?

That’s' what he started and now he's worth a whopping 2 BILLIION dollars.
But here's what important:

I want to share with you 3 success insights that I isolated in his remarkable success story that YOU can use in your life and business starting today.

You ready?
Awesome, let's go.

1) Taking the Long-Term View - So many people act on an idea, do it for a month, it doesn't 'work', so they go on to another idea, it doesn't 'work' and they repeat this vicious cycle for most of their adult lives.

Immediate gratification is the desire of too many people. I know this as much as anyone because I’d been very guilty of this myself years go.

Let me quote from the article:
"For the next 3 years Mateschitz tinkered with the drink formula and developed a marketing strategy."

Mateschitz and all GREAT entrepreneurs take a LONG-TERM VIEW, not a week- or month-long view. They realize great things take time to evolve, to build.

They realize they need to make a ton of mistakes in order to discover what works.
So many of us have had million dollar ideas and we gave up on them MUCH too soon.

Look at your idea over a 1-year view, 3-year view, or even more.
It will give you the 'room’ you need to grow yourself and your business.

We all need to earn the right to be rich and that takes place through persistence, patience, and action.

2) Ignore the Naysayers - There are times to listen to 'focus groups' and times not to; and Mateschitz is really glad he didn't listen.
>From the article:
"Before launching, Mateschitz hired a market research firm to test Red Bull's acceptance. The result was a catastrophe. People didn't believe the taste, the logo, the brand name...I never experienced such a disaster."

Did Mateschitz believe in his idea 100%?
You bet he did.
There's a time to 'hear' your market and there's a time to go for it.
Mateschitz was 100% correct in his heart and his decision.

3) Singles and Doubles - I used to go for 'homeruns' and millions before I ever made hundreds and thousands; most people fall into this trap also.

One of the big things that changed my life was making my goals smaller and celebrating those small steps and victories.

We all know you need to make $500 and $5,000 before you can make $50,000 and $1,000,000, but sometimes people forget this.

Mateschitz sells 2 billion cans of Red Bull now a year.
But look how he got that.
It was with singles and doubles.
First year can sales: 1 million
Second year can sales: 2 million
Singles and then more singles.
Step by step.
Can by can.
This is how ALL success happens.

Ask yourself:
What is the next simple step I could take TODAY to move my life and/or business forward?
Mateschitz took the long-term view and UNDERSTOOD that you sell a billion cans ONE can at a time.

If this makes sense to you, you must pick up my 'Power of Concentration Success System' because it will help you stay focused and get those 'singles and doubles', go here:

There are many simple lessons to be learned from billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz.

Success Secrets Of A Famous Vacuum Salesperson

I have to admit, I have an 'addiction'.

Sometimes this addiction keeps me up to 3 am, sometimes it causes me to work 7 days a week.

Many times this addiction is healthy, but I will confess that sometimes it's not.

No, my addiction isn't drugs or alcohol, it's something much more powerful.
"Mike, what is it?"

I'm addicted to studying successful people in all areas of life and taking from them things that can help me and my business.

I've had this 'addiction' for a while and I think it's getting worse. :}

There are so many people in hundreds of different industries doing amazing things that we can learn from.

Recently, I started to become fascinated with the 80-year plus master vacuum salesperson David Oreck.

Have you seen his TV commercials or print ads? He and his company are everywhere.
The guy is a master salesperson and entrepreneur.
In doing some research about him, I found many intriguing success principles and I want to share 2 of them with you today:

1) The Importance of a Coach/Mentor - David Oreck gives a ton of credit to the late David Sarnoff who was instrumental in the development of radio and TV.
David Oreck learned a great deal about selling, communication, and having a vision. And he transferred those skills to his own business.

(If you're serious about changing your life quickly, I have set aside 47 more free success assessments with one of my top success coaches. These assessments will get you focused and help you quickly reach your dreams, go here:
http://www.successcoaching.com/ )

2) The Power of Sticking to the Fundamentals - After reading many, many articles about David Oreck, the one point I noticed he kept emphasizing that was instrumental to his success is sticking to the fundamentals.

Ask yourself:

What are the fundamental keys and action steps to succeeding at my line of work?

Pick 1 and start working on it today.

Becoming a huge success isn't necessarily a complex thing; it's taking consistent steps forward, learning from your mistakes, understanding the business you're in…and never giving up.

David Oreck has been living these principles for decades and if you start applying them in your life, you'll SEE huge progress toward your dreams.

Now back to my addiction: I love it. :} But I probably need a bit of moderation at times.

I'm committed to sharing with you tips and strategies that have helped me to live my dreams at 31 years old and my CHALLENGE to you is this: apply 1 new thing you learn each week.

Do one thing today you don't feel like doing, but if you do, it will move you forward.

YOU can do it.

Talk to you soon.

P.S. One of the things I love about my 'Power of Concentration Success System' is its focus on the FUNDAMENTALS of success.

Read This Great Success Story

Hope you're having a GREAT week!

I want to tell you about an amazing success story that in one way shocks me and in another way doesn't surprise me at all.

Ok, let me tell you what I mean.

As some of you know that have been around my 'stuff' for a while, I was lost for 6-7 years before I started to find my way. I had a ton of good ideas that I never followed through on.

My habits were poor.
I was scattered. REALLY scattered.

And my own parents who love me dearly weren't sure how bright my future would be when I was 27 years old and not going anywhere (almost 5 yrs ago).

There's a PRINCIPLE that helped me turn it all around and a story I want to share – a story of someone who has just used this principle incredibly well.
I used to wait ‘till everything was perfect before I'd start.

What happened is that I never started or completed anything.

Here's the principle that changed everything.
***You Don't Have To Get It Right, You Just Have To Get It Going.
Let me say it again.
***You Don't Have To Get It Right, You Just Have To Get It Going.

I just started getting things going. I started learning what works, what doesn't. I was growing personally faster than ever before. And then the money started coming in.

And then I discovered that ALL great success stories start this way.

It's a law of success.

Check out this story:

A friend of mine wanted to make it in the business direction he was going in and recently asked for my help.

We took some time, talked, and I layed out a plan that he could follow if he wished.

This would have been a big change for him and a big financial risk if he went in this direction.
40 days go by and I receive a phone call, "Mike, we did $20,000 this month. I'm not really sure what I'm doing, but I'm just moving forward and taking action."

Now 90 days have passed and we spoke last night. He did over $35,000 in his 3rd month.

Let me say right here that these aren't 'normal' results so soon. But if he only did $200-$2,000+ THAT would have been amazing also.

He said to me last night, "Mike, I feel like I'm in a dark room, looking for the light switch."

What he was really saying was, "I didn't wait ‘till I got it right, I JUST got it going!"
And that's what all of US need to do more.

Get off your tail and TAKE the next step.

Make an extra $100 this month, $1,000, $10,000; to me the number doesn't matter as much as the FORWARD progress. The momentum in your life is what counts because that's going to bring you fulfillment and results.

I've seen it over and over in my life.

If you just get going, learn from your actions, listen to people 'ahead' of you, you can accomplish more in the next 90 days than you've done in all of 2004.

Ask yourself:
What action step have I been putting off because I've waited for it to be perfect that I could start today?
And GO.
DO it.
YOU can make 2005 your most remarkable year EVER.

I believe in you.

Take the next step today. Have faith in yourself. You can do it.

I know you can.

Talk to you soon.
