Success Secrets - Lessons from a Billionaire

I'm not sure about you, but I love reading success stories and I bet you do as well.

I want to share with you some insights from one of my favorite entrepreneurs.

What this individual has accomplished at his age is unbelievable and there's so much we can learn from him.

"Who is this great entrepreneur that we can all learn from?"

He's Michael Dell, the CEO of Dell Computers and one of the greatest entrepreneurs of this generation. At 40 years old he's built of the most successful companies in the world and he's one of the world's youngest billionaires.

Make a note of this.

If you'd like to read an amazing book about entrepreneurship and building businesses, read Michael Dell's book 'Direct From Dell'. Must read.

I've read it a few times.

This past weekend I had some free time and did some more research on Michael Dell. I'm always looking for new interviews he's done, new articles, etc...

I found an article from an interview he did a few years back and want to share a few insights from it that can help you make more mon.ey.

First off, it's important to point out that Michael Dell's parents wanted him to stop playing with computers in college and get into medical school.

It's important that we listen to ourselves and follow the path that we desire. People around us many times have great intentions, but many times they don't understand the life and goals of the entrepreneur. Believe in yourself.

Getting along with others and creating strategic alliances is so important in business.

Here's what Michael Dell has to say about it in this interview:
"I think the idea of one company trying to do it all is really not necessarily the answer. Our business is about partnerships--with suppliers, with customers and with other companies--and that's how we've grown to $32 billion in 18 years. Not by trying to do it all ourselves."

Here are some other helpful insights.
"Well we always surrounded ourselves with the best talent we could possibly find and we were never afraid to share the responsibilities. There's way too much to be done in our business."

"All the people said Dell is going to be a niche and here we are number one in market share."

We can learn so much from Michael Dell and other great entrepreneurs. Make sure you take the time to read their books and attend seminars, so you can get around successful people.
