Success Tips from KB Homes CEO
What he said at the end of the TV show really caught my attention.
Yesterday at 8 am EST, I turned on one of my favorite TV programs.
I try to watch A & E's "History's Business" as often as I can Because I always learn something from the show and yesterday was no different.
I didn't get the exact spelling of the person's name being interviewed, but he was the CEO and chairman of a billion dollar company called KB Homes.
He made a point at the end of the interview that I've shared many times with you and this principle has helped me greatly.
Before I tell you what he said, I want you to know how this point helped me because you can see the value in it.
For 7 years, I was running around in a circle.
I read thousands of personal development books and I couldn't make a penny.
I had dozens and dozens of ideas and I didn't follow thru of any of them.
I was trying to make a million dollars before I ever made $10,000 a month.
My head was in the clouds and I was going nowhere fast.
Probably my biggest hang-up was this: I was always trying to find the 'big idea', the multi million dollar idea, and I'd start something and stop, start and stop, it was pretty bad.
And then, almost 5 years ago, something started to change.
Here's what the interviewer asked the Chairman of KB Homes and the principle that I've now used to live my dreams.
He said, "If you can share one success insight to our viewers to help them, what would it be?
He paused for 3 seconds and said:
"Don't go for home runs. Go for singles and doubles. If you follow this advice you'll be amazed at the results."
I agree with him 100%.
The big money will come for you when you know how to consistently make the 'smaller money'.
Have the discipline to go for the small victories and watch the momentum that enters your life.
When I put together 'The Power of Concentration Success System', my goal was for people to
use it to get more singles and doubles in their life and improve their mindset and income and it has.
Ask yourself:
If I was going to go for a 'single or double' this week, what would I focus on and what would I do?
Then begin. Be bold. Be yourself.
You're going to have an great week. I know you are.
Talk to you soon.
