OH Mike you are so Right.

Remember this too:

The Universe rewards ACTION...Not Fear.

I am the prime example of that. I have been taking action steps that would have most people hiding under their blankets.

I am not saying that I don't experience the fear, because I do and it is very real. I just do NOT let it stop me.

One baby step at a time to success, that is what I tell myself.

Since I have more ACTION-MINDED people in my life and in my business, WOWOWOW, things have started to move. It has taken time and some heartache to find these wonderful action-minded people, and that is part of the journey of life.

I have raised 5 children and I’ve been married for almost 25 years; it has had its challenges, however, my Perseverance and Trust and Faith are what have held me together all these years.

In February 2005, I’m officially going to join forces with a new Foundation called ‘The World Harmony Foundation’, which reaches children across the world, helping to create peace and
communication through the arts. I was asked by THEM to join their team; this is not something I was in search of Mike, it’s something that the Universe, seeing how much action I have been taking, especially in this 2004 year, and all the perseverance and courage I showed in all the endeavors I was involved in, I believe has blessed me with, giving me this grand opportunity. I tell you, it is scary; however, I know this is where I'm being led at this point in my life.

I'm just a small town girl, a stay-at-home mom in rural Kansas with a high school diploma.

Even Michael Dell Does This

I was reading The New York Times Business Section yesterday (Sunday) and there was an awesome cover story about Michael Dell (the 40 yr old billionaire who started Dell Computers).

I'm a big fan of what Michael Dell has accomplished and I love reading about 'captains of industry' because there's so much you can learn.

You gotta listen to this because it's crucial.

It's a point you need to hear because it can help you grow and help your business grow.

This point is so simple, you've probably heard it 1,000 times, but I'd bet 'dollars to doughnuts' you're not applying it.

And that's the problem.

The greatest information in the world is meaningless, UNLESS YOU APPLY IT.

Don't buy anything from me if you're not going to take 1 POINT at a time and apply it. It's impossible to apply 12 things at once.

One at a time.

Onward.

Here's what really hit home with me in the article and what I want to share with you.

I've used this ’point’ a ton in the last 2 years and it's made me a ton of money.

One of my coaching clients used it and has made over six figures in the last 3 months.

Another has used it to make $23,173 in 2 weeks.

The article about Dell Computers in the New York Times talks about how Dell doesn't really INVENT anything.

They allocate just 2% to Research and Development, most other companies like them allocate at least THREE TIMES that.

(yes, a ton more goes into how businesses do things, but we're talking here about the PRACTICES OF SUCCESS.)

You've probably heard this point 1,000 times, but LISTEN NOW.

You've heard how you need to 'model' someone successful, etc...

Dell MODELS successful products.

Then it puts it's 1% 'spin' on it, it's uniqueness.

Michael Dell has made hundreds of millions of dollars by 'copying', modeling, whatever word you want to use.

Who are you 'copying'?

Who are you 'following'?

Are they action-oriented or just a big talker?

Are they scattered or focused?

How much time do you spend really learning 'the business' you are in?

What 'practices', what strategies do the top 3% use in your industry to succeed?

Find them. Use them. Then put your 1% 'uniqueness' on them.

Stop making 'success' so complex.

Each day you need to take SIMPLE steps forward towards your goal.

Model success. Imitate success. Find what works and DO IT.

Ask yourself:

What are 2 things I know successful people do in my field that I can also do today?

WRITE them down.

Do it NOW.

You can achieve ALL your dreams and goals.

I know you can.

What Happens When You Don't Take Action

The minute I received this e-mail, I knew I wanted to immediately share this point with you.

I received an e-mail from Becky, one of my subscribers and here's the meat and potatoes of what she said.

Listen closely.

Becky told me she's been having challenges 'getting going' and the people around her have been
pretty negative.

A few months back she made the decision to try to find new associates that were more positive, into success books, and more like-minded.

She's still having problems moving forward and getting focused.

Maybe that's a first step, but long-term it's not the answer. It’s just not the answer.

I've been to many seminars and I've spoken to many people who have read a ton of books, heard of bunch of CDs, and their results are weak at best.

Let me say this.

I respect LIKE-MINDED people, but don't choose to make them close business associates.

"What do you mean Mike?"

Let me explain.


I choose a different type of person and I'd suggest you do the same.

You want to be known by people around you as a 'Man or Woman of Action'.

A BIG Secret Of Successful People

It's Friday at 4:47pm EST and I want to share with you a 'secret' of mine that has helped me live my dreams at 30 years old.

I Agree With Richard Branson On This

Hope you're having a shakin' and bakin' week!

I was reading one of those weekend inserts in the newspaper and came across something I knew I needed to share with you.

Let me give you some 'history' and then we'll rocket forward.

For many years I used to be a "No" person.

"What does that mean?"

Here's what it means.

When people used to ask me to get involved in things, look into things, etc…my initial reaction was always NO.

"Want to check out this opportunity?" No.

"Want to go to this event?" No.

And what happened was, for about 7+ years, I was going nowhere in my life.

Job to job. My dream was dying and people around me were losing belief in me.

It wasn't a happy time.

But then something happened.

Before I tell you what happened, I want you to read this from Richard Branson, the well-known billionaire, which was in the weekend paper.

"Just Say Yes. My colleagues call me Dr. Yes. When somebody said, " I can build a balloon that can fly on the jet stream so we can be the first people to cross the Atlantic," it sounded so wonderful that [I wanted to] do it myself. Life is one big learning process, and if you say no all the time, it's going to be fairly dull."


Here's what happened in my life.

I started saying YES more.

It's so simple.

I started saying YES more to opportunities, people, events – and things started happening.

The mass of people always say No.

Winners in life SAY YES more.

They get more.

Branson knows this. Trump knows this. Oprah knows this.

Now you do.

Ask yourself this question:

What have I put off or have been indecisive about, that if I said YES could move my life forward?

Decide NOW to step up and become the person you've ALWAYS dreamed of.

A Success Tip For The Weekend

I want to share a quick tip with you. I had one of my coaching clients come to town today and we had lunch.

He was asking me how I’ve been consistently able to build myself and my business.

I thought it was a solid question and I thought about it for a few minutes.

Here’s the answer I gave him.

I make MORE decisions than most people.

Let me explain.

Your next level in your life is always preceded by a decision.

Usually, this decision is a stretch and is uncomfortable, but it needs to be done.

I’m going to talk more about this in an upcoming newsletter, but most people are too indecisive for massive success.

When you’re indecisive, you end up talking about the same stuff for months, sometimes longer. You need to always be UPGRADING YOUR CONVERSATION.

How do you do this?

When you make a decisive to stretch yourself, with it a new conversation begins.


Here’s an example:

Bob wants to set up a website. He’s been talking about it for 6 months.

Sam wants to set up a website. He understands that he doesn’t have to get it right, he just has to get it going - and his site is up in 7 days. Now, Sam UPGRADES his conversation. No longer does he have to talk about setting up a site, now he talks about getting visitors to his site, making money with his site, etc…

Bob is still talking about his site.


The more proactive decisions you make in your life and business, the more you’ll grow and the more money you’ll make.

I’ll go into more depth with this in an upcoming ezine because it’s so important to your success.
