How To Become Great

I hope you've had an AWESOME week!

I want to share with you a success principle that is loud and clear in my own life.

Let me tell you a little about myself first because it will help make the point.

I dislike going backwards and I'm passionate about progress.

One of my strongest beliefs is never go to bed the same person that you were when you woke up.

Learn something, do something, stretch yourself, you must GROW each day.

This is so important. Make DAILY PROGRESS a strong belief you hold.

But here's something that is crystal clear in my life.

Do you want to get to the next level in your life and business?

Here's how I do it.

You see, there's always a CONSTANT, there's always something that must happen before you can move to the next level.

Every time I do 'this', I move to another level in what I'm pursuing.

Your next level always starts by making a DECISION.

Usually, this decision is a bit scary as well.

Most people's best friend is indecision and that's why their growth is slow. As slow as turtles walking across Main Street.

You MUST start making more decisions. (<<< read this again)

Remember, you don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

DECIDE today to start something new, do something that makes you a bit uncomfortable.

You should be doing AT LEAST 1 uncomfortable thing a day in your life or business.

Decide to MAKE YOUR MOVE.

Make a decision today and then do this.

TAKE THE FIRST STEP.

That's it.

Ask yourself this question: What decision have I been putting off that if decided today could move my life and/or business forward?

Remember, you don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going.

Have a GREAT weekend and UNLEASH YOUR GREATNESS!

Ready for this Challenge?

Ready to STEP UP and have a FANTASTIC week?

Seriously, are you ready or really ready?

Let's go!

Here's my challenge to you.

But before I get to the challenge, let me share with you something important.

Real important.

One of the biggest differences between successful people and unsuccessful people is successful people make a HABIT of doing the things they don't like to do. (read this again)

Until you form the HABIT of doing the things that you'd rather not do, you're not going to achieve the success you truly want.

So here's my challenge for the next 72 hours.

Do ONE (just 1) thing Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday that you don't want to do and SEE how it feels.

It could be something in your business, something at home, it really doesn't matter right now. Just GET IN THE HABIT of doing the things you'd rather put off.

You're going to FEEL a greater sense of self and of what's possible in your life.

Take the 72 hour challenge and when you succeed, email me and I'll send you a gift. Email to mike@mikelitman.com

YOU can do it because you desire to live the life you've always imagined.

At 19 years old I had a dream, at 31 years old I'm living it. Yes, it's possible for YOU to live your wildest dreams.

START the challenge now.

Talk to you soon.

Mike Litman

P.S. I received this email this morning and I wanted to share it with you:

Hey Brian, I recently ordered The Power of Concentration package. It truly is FANTASTIC.

Let Mike know the report on success myths (idea avalanche, growth comes a step at a time don't diversify, etc.) was worth 10 TIMES THE COST of the entire course by itself.

You have no idea how strongly it impacted me. Many, many false beliefs I have held for years upon years were shattered in the course of 5 minutes worth of reading. This is stuff I've never heard from anyone else except Mike. In addition to becoming more focused on success and what I need to do to accomplish my goals, I've also realized many people in the "Success/Motivation" field are really just out there to help themselves to my $$$$. Now I'm on the right path.

Please let him know how much I appreciate his efforts. I'm currently on my way to wearing out the "Hostage" CD.

May God Richly Bless You,

Rick Townsend

Powerful Step To Getting What You Want

It's Saturday at 4:01pm EST and I wanted to share this with everyone who owns Greatness Held Hostage because it will give you an important success insight. This point helped me incredibly as well.

I've received a few emails from people who also own The Power of Concentration Success System and they've referenced this important passage in the book.

I wanted to share it with you because it proved helpful to them and maybe it can help you as well.

From page 21:

"The ignorant person may say, "How can you get anything by merely wanting it? I say that through concentration you can get anything you want. Every desire can be gratified. But whether it is, will depend upon you concentrating to have that desire fulfilled. Merely wishing for something will not bring it. Wishing you had something shows a weakness and not a belief that you will really get it. So never merely wish, as we are not living in a "fairy age." You use up just as much brain force in "vain imaginings" as you do when you think of something worth while.

Be careful of your desires, make a mental picture of what you want and set your will to this until it materializes. Never allow yourself to drift without helm or rudder. Know what you want to do, and strive with all your might to do it, and you will succeed.

Feel that you can accomplish anything you undertake. Many undertake to do things, but feel when they start they are going to fail and usually they do."

--

Get clear on what you want. Feel that you can achieve it and TAKE ACTION.

Have a great weekend.

Talk to you soon.

I believe in you and your dreams.

Mike Litman

P.S. If you have goals and dreams that haven’t been achieved yet, grab a copy of The Power of Concentration Success System.

What Friday Has To Do With Success

Can I be 100% honest with you?

Ok, thanks.

Today is Friday and to me Friday's are very important in my business, here's why.

For me, there's is nothing 'business worse' then a week gone by with little to no personal or business growth.

Why?

Because if so, I just wasted an entire week. I just wasted over 100 hours of my life.

Remember, TIME is the most important currency we have, right?

You must look back at your week TODAY and ask yourself a few questions.

What have I learned?

How did I grow?

How did my business grow?

What one action did I take this week that I'm most proud of?

Why did I do it?

How could I have served more people?

What do I want to accomplish my next Friday? (write it down)

There is no way that you can ACCEPT going an entire week and not growing.

No way Jose.

It's just NOT ACCEPTABLE any more. You agree?

Make a COMMITMENT to daily and weekly growth. Can I recommend that each Friday you look back at your week and see how you've improved...you MUST do it.

Socrates said, 'An unexamined life isn't worth living.' Start examining your life and start stretching yourself EVEN more.

You don't have to get things always right in life, you just have to get them going.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Mike Litman

His Negativity Was Shocking

It's 9:37am EST and I wanted to write an email to you because I think this can help you.

I just got off the phone with a client of mine who I coach.

What amazed me about this person is that he had tremendous success in the past but for the last 2 years he's been depressed, disorganized, procrastinating a ton, and his income has dropped a lot.

I could tell he'd been 'beating himself' up a bit because he just didn't sound like himself.

What happened is 2 years ago he went out 'on his own' and he's dropped the ball. Like he almost forgot how great he was.

I was trying to get to the bottom of his challenge and it turned out to be very easy.

It ended up being so easy that I was surprised.

Here's how he was destroying himself.

He had NEW BELIEFS about himself and his business that were SO NEGATIVE that I was shocked.

He had so many 'What ifs', that were so NEGATIVE and SELF-SABOTAGING that it was no wonder his results were horrible.

What we did was bring these negative beliefs to the forefront and once we did, he started laughing because he realized how ridiculous these beliefs were.

He felt 10,000 pounds lighter and he started seeing his future so much clearer.

What negative beliefs are you attaching yourself to that are holding you back?

Do you believe you don't deserve success?

Do you believe you're not worthy of being great?

Get a piece of paper and write down all the beliefs that are holding you back.

What happens is when you put them DOWN ON PAPER you realize how stupid they are.

Most people keep everything in their head and put nothing down on paper.

Putting things down on paper helps bring CLARITY to your thinking.

99% of the negative beliefs people hold are a complete lie.

They're just not true, but people start holding onto them and over time they start believing that they're real.

Ask yourself, what negative beliefs do I have that are holding me hostage?

This is very important stuff.

You need to work on yourself if you want to succeed.

Let's go! :}

Talk to you soon.

Mike Litman

P.S. You deserve to have absolute clarity in your life. You deserve to have zero negative beliefs. You deserve financial freedom. You deserve to have The Power of Concentration Success System to help YOU Immediately.

Why Ideas Are Not Always Good

If you had met me 7 years I ago I might have been the most scattered person you had ever met.
I was totally disorganized, mentally I was scattered, there was no way I was going to accomplish something worthwhile with my life.

Those times were tough, but luckily I was able to change those bad habits into good ones.

Back then I had so many ideas that I started drowning in them and I ended up not following through on anything at all. Success has been defined as a commitment to completion and I agree.

I wanted to share one of the most popular articles that I've written over the last few years because I've received so many emails from people on how much it's helped them.

It bothers me immensely when people cheat themselves out of their dreams because they're 'all over the place'.

I was 'beat up' by the idea avalanche for years and when I finally got control of it my income skyrocketed. And yours will to.

Enjoy the article:

Enough Ideas Already!

How an abundance of 'great ideas' almost ruined my life and how to stop the 'idea avalanche' from ruining yours!

Great ideas are worthless.

A true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great ideas are a scam on oneself.

A true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great ideas never make you money!

A true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great ideas waste your time.

A true statement 99.7% of the time.

Great ideas almost ruined my life and my business. I stopped it.

Just in time. Minutes before the ‘idea avalanche' was going to take me down.

The 'idea avalanche' is defined as:
The mental condition whereby ideas come to you in such abundance that you have trouble keeping up with all of them.

For a 9 year period, I chased my tail. 'Million dollar' idea after ‘Million dollar idea’. ‘Million dollar idea’ after ‘Million dollar idea’.

Every few days. Another idea came to mind that was going to make me rich. It was amazing.

I would start writing stuff down on Monday about an idea. By Wednesday, I got a new, 'better one', and was on to the next one.

A vicious cycle.

One after another. One after another.

Does any of this sound familiar? To many, you know this scenario all to well. All to well.

The 'idea avalanche' at first seems to be a friend. Years later, when you've done nothing you
realize this fact.

The 'idea avalanche' is an enemy. One that if not controlled will hold hostage your goals and dreams.

When people say 'I have a million dollar or billion dollar idea', I say great and I sometimes laugh.
It's probably true. But does one have any idea what is necessary to take that idea and turn it into reality.

Most people don't. The 'idea avalanche' has got them.

There's only one way out.

Decide on 1 idea that 'does it' for you.

And open fire on the enemy with your only weapon.

Action.

Massive action.

It's the step that changed my life.

-------------------------------

Get focused and get into action! You'll begin to clearly see how you can achieve extraordinary results.

Talk to you soon.

Mike Litman

P.S. If you need some help staying focused, you may want to grab Theron Dumont's rare 1918 book The Power of Concentration and the life changing success system!

What I Learned This Weekend

When I went to bed Friday night, my wife and I expected to spend Saturday afternoon together.
We had planned to get a bite to eat and see a movie.

But, by the time 11am rolled around those plans had gone out the window.

A bunch of my wife's friends called and before I knew it she was out with them and I was 'home alone'.

I decided to make the most of that alone time and headed to the office.

I really do enjoy being in the office all alone. Quiet, peaceful and I can get a lot done.

I grabbed lunch on the way, and like many of you, I sometimes enjoy reading when I eat…

I don't have that many books or magazines in my office, probably less then five books, but I grabbed that rare success classic I've been telling you about and started reading it again for the 12+ time.

What amazes me is that every time I read a book again, I see more pearls of wisdom in it. It's
truly incredible.

I want to share with you these two points that 'hit home' with me this weekend and that I think will be helpful to you.

While I was reading Theron Dumont's 1918 classic 'The Power of Concentration' he said this:

"One of the most beneficial practices I know of is that of looking for the good in everyone and everything, for there is good in all things. We encourage a person by seeing his good qualities and we also help ourselves by looking for them.

We gain their good wishes, a most valuable asset sometimes. We get back what we give out. The time comes when most all of us need encouragement; need buoying up. So form the habit of encouraging others, and you will find it a wonderful tonic for both those encouraged and yourself, for you will get back encouraging and uplifting thoughts."

You know, I've heard comments like this often, but it's so good to be reminded of things like this.

Especially this line, "We get back what we give out."

Theron Dumont then continued with this awesome passage.

"Life furnishes us the opportunity to improve. But whether we do it or not depends upon how near we live up to what is expected of us. The first of each month, a person should sit down and examine the progress he has made. If he has not come up to "expectations" he should discover the reason, and by extra exertion measure up to what is demanded next time. Every time that we fall behind what we planned to do, we lose just so much for that time is gone forever.

We may find a reason for doing it, but most excuses are poor substitutes for action. Most things are possible. Ours may be a hard task, but the harder the task, the greater the reward. It is the difficult things that really develop us, anything that requires only a small effort, utilizes very few of our faculties, and yields a scanty harvest of achievement. So do not shrink from a hard task, for to accomplish one of these will often bring us more good than a dozen lesser triumphs."

Re-read this line again, "Ours may be a hard task, but the harder the task, the greater the reward."

The journey to financial freedom isn't a 'walk in the park'. There will be challenges, but YOU can and will prevail.

There is so much success wisdom in Theron Dumont's rare success classic, 'The Power of Concentration' and I've included a whole system that will show you how I maximized the book
and made over $51,187 in less then 90 days.

It's a must have book for your success journey. You can learn more about it here:

The Power of Concentration

Another passage that really hit home when I was reading over lunch:

"I know that every person that is willing to pay the price can be a success. The price is not in money, but in effort. The first essential quality for success is the desire to do-- to be something."

You'll get so much from this rare book and the complete system for what equals only $1 a day for the month. Click here to learn more: The Power of Concentration

Because these points really 'hit home' for me, I'm kinda glad my wife went out with her friends. :}

What is the success lesson in this story?

One of my clients gave me permission to tell you his story.

Jim called me 9 months ago and asked for help.

For the last 5 years Jim desperately wanted to leave his 9 to 5 job, but couldn't because the finances weren't there to support his wife and 2 kids. (6 and 9 years old)

In February 2001, Jim started reading personal development books and listening to CD's.

He got excited, like many of us.

He told me that at the age of 44 he finally lit his entrepreneurial spirit. He really wanted to grow both personally and financially.

Jim got excited, started working on a bunch of 'ideas'.

At first he worked on one thing, then 2 weeks later it was something else and 3 weeks later, a new thing.

That pattern kept going. Jim told me that in his zest to 'start a new life', a new lifestyle, more time with his wife and kids, he somehow was doing something wrong.

Personally, I used to make the same mistake he was making.

Unfortunately, I speak to hundreds of people each week in a similar situation to Jim.

One day we were on the phone and Jim got a bit emotional saying, "Mike, I need to do something because my dreams and my family are important to me, but I'm completely scattered. I'm all over the place."

I could really relate to him because that was me for 6 years earlier in my life.

I asked Jim if he was really serious about finally regaining control of his life. He said yes.

I could feel in his voice that he really meant it.

You see, so many people like Jim want more, but haven't reached it yet and here's a big reason why.

They're scattered and their habits are poor.

I challenged Jim and showed him how getting focused and learning how to concentrate, would bring him great rewards.

One of the real secrets to success is focus and concentration.

And that's what Jim started to do.

It's now less then 10 months later and Jim is home with his kids all day. He's spending quality time with his wife. Even waking up after 10am some days.

Because he started concentrating his energy, one of his 'ideas' has now grown so big, he's left his 9 to 5 job.

The question might be asked, "What did I tell Jim to help him become financially free and be able to quit his job?"

I revealed to him the same things Theron Dumont revealed to me in his rare 1918 classic on the power of concentration.

Those secrets changed my life and now Jim's life also.

You can get the same life changing system that I showed Jim and get the classic book for free.

Click Here: The Power of Concentration

Jim didn't want to go through life being scattered and inconsistent and neither did I.

You really can discover how to quickly and easily become a person that can succeed in a big, big way.

Theron Dumont says:

"Merely wishing for something will not bring it. Wishing you had something shows a weakness and not a belief that you will really get it. So never merely wish, as we are not living in a "fairy age." You use up just as much brain force in "vain imaginings" as you do when you think of something worth while."

Jim changed his life and so can you.
